I. General Provisions

The foreman of the main production site belongs to the category of managers.
A person who has a higher professional (technical) education and at least 1 year of work experience in production or a secondary vocational (technical) education and at least 3 years of work experience in production is appointed to the position of foreman of the main production site.
In the absence of special education, at least 5 years of work experience in production is required.
Appointment to the position of foreman of the main production site and dismissal from it is carried out by order of the head of the enterprise on the proposal of _______.
The foreman of the main production site must know:

legislative and regulatory legal acts, regulatory and methodological materials relating to the production and economic activities of the site;
technical characteristics and requirements for products manufactured by the site, the technology of its production;
site equipment and rules for its technical operation;
methods of technical, economic and production planning;
forms and methods of production and economic activity of the site;
the basics of labor legislation and the procedure for charging works and workers;
norms and prices for work, the procedure for their revision;
current regulations on wages and forms of material incentives;
advanced domestic and foreign experience in production management;
fundamentals of economics, organization of production, labor and management;
rules of internal labor regulations;
rules and norms of labor protection, safety measures, industrial sanitation and fire protection.

The foreman of the main production site reports directly to _______ and in his practical activities is guided by the charter of the enterprise, the regulation on the department (division) and this Job Description.
During the absence of the master of the main production site (business trip, vacation, illness, etc.), his duties are performed by a person appointed in the prescribed manner. The specified person acquires the corresponding rights and is responsible for proper execution.

II. Official duties

Master of the main production area:

Carries out in accordance with the current legislative and regulatory acts regulating the production and economic activities of the enterprise, manages the production site headed by him.
Ensures that the site fulfills the production targets in terms of the volume of production of products (works, services), quality, a given nomenclature (assortment), increase labor productivity, reduce the labor intensity of products based on the rational loading of equipment and use its technical capabilities, increase the shift ratio of equipment operation, economical use of raw materials, materials, fuel, energy and cost reduction.
Timely prepares production, ensures the placement of workers and teams.
Monitors compliance with technological processes, promptly identifies and eliminates the causes of their violation.
Participates in the development of new and improvement of existing technological processes and production modes, as well as production schedules.
Checks the quality of products or work performed.
Carries out measures to prevent defects and improve the quality of products (works, services).
Participates in the acceptance of completed work on the reconstruction of the site, repair of technological equipment, mechanization and automation of production processes and manual work.
Organizes the introduction of advanced methods and techniques of labor, as well as forms of its organization, certification and rationalization of jobs.
Ensures that the workers fulfill the production standards, the correct use of production areas, equipment, office equipment (equipment and tools), uniform (rhythmic) work of the site.
Carries out the formation of brigades (their quantitative, professional and qualification composition), develops and implements measures for the rational maintenance of brigades, coordinates their activities.
Establishes and promptly communicates production targets to brigades and individual workers (not part of brigades) in accordance with approved production plans and schedules, standard indicators for the use of equipment, raw materials, materials, tools, fuel, energy.
Carries out production briefings for workers, takes measures to comply with the rules of labor protection, safety precautions and industrial sanitation, technical operation of equipment and tools, as well as control over their observance.
Promotes the introduction of progressive forms of labor organization, makes proposals for the revision of production standards and prices, as well as for the assignment of work and professions of work categories to the workers of the section in accordance with the Unified Tariff and Qualification Guide, takes part in the billing of the work of the section.
Analyzes the results of production activities.
Controls the spending of the wage fund established by the site.
Ensures the correctness and timeliness of the execution of primary documents for recording working time, production, wages downtime.
Promotes the dissemination of best practices, the development of initiative, the introduction of rationalization proposals and inventions.
Ensures timely revision in the prescribed manner of labor cost norms, the introduction of technically sound norms and normalized tasks, the correct and effective application of wage and bonus systems.
Takes part in the implementation of work to identify production reserves in terms of quantity, quality and range of products, in the development of measures to create favorable working conditions, improve the culture of production, rational use of working time and production equipment.
Controls the observance by workers of the rules of labor protection and safety, production and labor discipline, internal labor regulations, contributes to the creation of an atmosphere of mutual assistance and exactingness in the team, the development of a sense of responsibility and interest in the timely and high-quality performance of production tasks among workers.
Prepares proposals on the promotion of workers or the application of measures of material influence, on the imposition of disciplinary sanctions on violators of industrial and labor discipline.
Organizes work to improve the skills and professional skills of workers and foremen, train them in second and related professions, conducts educational work in a team.

III. Rights

The foreman of the main production site has the right to:

Get acquainted with the draft decisions of the management of the enterprise on issues related to its activities.
Submit proposals to improve the activities of the enterprise for consideration by your immediate supervisor.
Interact with the heads of all (individual) structural divisions of the enterprise.
Sign and endorse documents within their competence.
Give subordinate employees binding instructions on issues of production activities and monitor their implementation.
Suspend the performance of work on faulty equipment, when using raw materials and materials of inadequate quality until the indicated deficiencies are eliminated.
Require the management of the enterprise to assist in the performance of their duties and rights.

IV. A responsibility

The foreman of the main production site is responsible for:

For improper performance or non-performance of their official duties provided for by this Job Description - within the limits determined by the labor legislation of Ukraine.
For offenses committed in the course of carrying out their activities - within the limits determined by the administrative, criminal and civil legislation of Ukraine.
For causing material damage - within the limits determined by the labor and civil legislation of Ukraine.
