I. General Provisions

A computer typing operator is appointed to a position and dismissed from his position by order of the director (manager) of the enterprise.
The computer typing operator reports directly to the head of the computer layout department.
In his work, the computer typing operator is guided by the Constitution of Ukraine, normative and guiding materials for information processing, the Regulations on the Department of Computer Layout and this Job Description.
Qualification requirements: an employee with a general secondary education or with a secondary specialized education can be appointed to the position of a computer typing operator without presenting requirements for work experience.
The typing operator must know:

rules for the operation of computer equipment and communication systems;
data processing technology;
work instructions, programs, layouts, other regulatory and methodological materials regarding the technique and sequence of operations in computer systems (networks);
standards of the unified system of organizational and administrative documentation;
spelling and punctuation rules;
technical requirements for magnetic disks, printer consumables;
a list of information constituting a commercial secret of the enterprise;
basics of labor organization, labor legislation;
internal labor regulations of the enterprise;
norms and requirements for labor protection, fire safety and industrial sanitation.

II. Official duties

The operator of a computer set is obliged:

prepare equipment, magnetic disks, tapes, cards, paper for work;
perform operations with databases on computer equipment (introduction, processing, accumulation, systematization, output of information) in accordance with approved procedures and instructions for the use of peripheral equipment, systems for transmitting (receiving) data at a distance;
enter and edit text in a text editor;
operate with files, write text on magnetic media or transfer to paper using a printer;
perform other operations of the technological process of information processing (accept and control input data, prepare, output and transmit initial data, etc.);
manage the operating modes of peripheral equipment according to work tasks (preparation of texts of documents and letters, calculations, tables, lists, lists, etc.);
timely apply coordinating actions in case of deficiencies in the operation of the equipment;
report to the responsible employee about the identified deviations from the established standards for the functioning of computer equipment;
use equipment for transmitting (receiving) information at a distance in accordance with the requirements for this, programs;
constantly improve the ability and skills of working with the keyboard;
if necessary, act as secretary of the head (organization, enterprise, institution).

III. Rights

The operator of a computer set has the right:

Get acquainted with the draft decisions of the management of the enterprise regarding its activities.
Participate in the discussion of issues related to the performance of his duties.
Make suggestions for improving the work related to the provisions of this instruction.
Within the limits of his competence, inform his immediate supervisor about all those identified in the course of his activities, and make proposals for their elimination.
Require the management of the enterprise to assist in the performance of their duties.

IV. A responsibility

The typing operator is responsible for:

For improper performance or non-performance of their official duties, as well as for non-use or directly to their rights provided for by this Job Description - to the extent determined by the current legislation of Ukraine.
For offenses committed in the course of carrying out their activities - within the limits determined by the current administrative, criminal and civil legislation of Ukraine.
For causing material damage - within the limits determined by the current labor legislation on labor of Ukraine.

Samsung to launch 3GB mobile memory 29.07.2013

The rapid growth of the smartphone market has led to the fact that in just a few years we have come to a situation where some devices of the middle price category (and in the case of the Chinese market, budget ones) are equipped with 2 GB of RAM.
