I. General Provisions

The veterinary assistant belongs to the category of specialists.
A person with a secondary veterinary education is appointed to the position of a veterinary paramedic (without presenting requirements for work experience; work experience in the profile (as a livestock specialist) is at least 3 years).
Appointment to the position of a veterinary paramedic and dismissal from it is carried out by order of the director of the organization upon presentation.
The veterinarian must know:

resolutions, orders, orders, other governing and regulatory documents of higher and other bodies concerning issues of agricultural production and production and economic activities of the department (farm, agricultural plot);
causes, mechanisms of development, clinical manifestations, diagnostic methods, complications, principles of treatment and prevention of animal diseases;
safety rules when working with medical instruments and equipment;
fundamentals of economics, organization of production, labor and management, systems of remuneration, material and moral incentives, methods of labor rationing;
labor legislation;
fundamentals of economics, labor organization, agricultural production and management;
rules of internal labor regulations;
rules of labor protection, safety measures, industrial sanitation and fire protection.

The veterinarian reports directly to _______.
During the absence of a veterinary paramedic (business trip, vacation, illness, etc.), his duties are performed by a person appointed in the prescribed manner. This person acquires the appropriate rights and is responsible for the proper performance of the duties assigned to him.

II. Official duties

Veterinary assistant:

Under the guidance of a veterinarian, zootechnics provides therapeutic and preventive care to animals, conducts examinations.
Prepares tools and materials used for the treatment of animals, ensures their maintenance in proper condition.
Advises on the treatment of animals, prevention of their diseases, sanitary standards for their maintenance.
Carries out control over the sanitary condition of premises, feed and equipment, their sanitization.
Organizes the preparation of animals for examination and treatment.
Provides services to animals in quarantine, in isolation, in hospital treatment.
Performs technical duties for artificial insemination of animals.
Manages employees.

III. Rights

The veterinarian has the right to:

Get acquainted with the draft decisions of the organization's management regarding its activities.
Submit proposals for improvement of the work related to the responsibilities provided for in this instruction for consideration by the management.
Within the limits of his competence, inform his immediate supervisor of all shortcomings in the activities of the enterprise (its structural divisions) identified in the course of the performance of official duties and make proposals for their elimination.
Request personally or on behalf of the management of the organization from the departments of the organization and other specialists information and documents necessary for the performance of his duties.
Involve specialists from all (individual) structural divisions in solving the tasks assigned to him (if this is provided for by the regulations on structural divisions, if not, then with the permission of the head of the organization).
Require the management of the organization to assist in the performance of his duties and rights.

IV. A responsibility

The veterinarian is responsible for:

For improper performance or non-performance of their official duties provided for by this Job Description - within the limits determined by the current labor legislation of Ukraine.
For offenses committed in the course of carrying out their activities - within the limits determined by the current administrative, criminal and civil legislation of Ukraine.
For causing material damage - within the limits determined by the current labor and civil legislation of Ukraine.

Samsung Exynos ModAP processor with LTE modem 17.07.2014

Samsung has introduced the Exynos ModAP processor, its first mobile chip with an integrated modem for fourth-generation LTE cellular networks.
