I. General Provisions

This Job Description defines the functional duties, rights and responsibilities of the chief designer of the production department of the television broadcasting department.
The chief designer of the production department of the television broadcasting department belongs to the category of specialists.
The chief designer of the production department of the television broadcasting department is appointed to the position and dismissed in accordance with the procedure established by the current labor legislation by order of the General Director of the television and radio company in agreement with the head of the production department of the television broadcasting department.
The chief designer of the production department of the television broadcasting department reports directly to the head of the production department of the television broadcasting department.
A person with a higher or secondary education and at least 1 year experience in a similar position is appointed to the position of chief designer of the production department of the television broadcasting department.
The chief designer of the production department of the television broadcasting department should know:

organization of the creative process, technical means and technology for creating television programs and other television products;
technical means and software necessary for creating a design for a television and radio company, developing a corporate identity and creating a design for a television and radio company;
compositing programs, 3D modeling, vector and raster graphics editors;
art of composition, design;
technology for creating graphic video material;
installation basics, and types of installation equipment;
requirements for the preparation of materials in a television and radio company: high technical quality, efficiency;
the procedure and terms for submitting information to the head of the production department of the television broadcasting department about the work done;
rules of internal labor regulations;
regulation on commercial secrets of the Television and Radio Company;
rules and norms of labor protection;
rules for using the LAN and other local regulations of the television and radio company relating to the activities of the production department of the television broadcasting department.

In his activities, the designer of the production department of the television broadcasting department is guided by:

Laws "On Mass Media", "On Advertising";
Charter of the TV and radio company;
Regulations on the Department of Television Broadcasting;
Regulations on the production department;
this Job Description.

During the temporary absence of the chief designer of the production department of the television broadcasting department (illness, vacation, business trip), his duties may be assigned to a person appointed by order of the General Director of the television and radio company. This person acquires the appropriate rights and is responsible for the improper performance of the duties assigned to him.

II. Official duties

Develops and produces the corporate identity of the TV and radio company and individual projects.
Forms a brand book and controls compliance with its use.
Develops mock-ups of studio scenery.
Engaged in the design of special projects of the television and radio company.
Participates in the development of presentation products of the TV and radio company.
Acts as an expert in identifying defects in the finished (ether) material of a third-party manufacturer.
Performs the whole range of works on the installation of television programs and other television products.
Performs artistic design of television programs.
He takes part in the development of logos, the creation of graphic images for television advertising.
Provides artistic and technical quality of installation.
Complies with the current technical standards, as well as the deadlines provided for by the calendar and production plan for the installation work.
Checks the availability of all submitted materials, identifies defects in individual takes. If defects are identified, the Company takes the necessary measures to eliminate them.
Carries out the process of preparing and editing television programs and other television products within the time allotted by the technology in accordance with the sequence agreed with the head of the production department of the television broadcasting department.
Performs archiving of video materials if necessary.
Participates in the development of the concept of the development of a television and radio company.
Supervises the work of the department's employees related to the development and development of the style of the television and radio company and individual projects.
Carries out control and coordination of the activities of the employees of the department engaged in programming projects for the television and radio company.
Controls new and already existing directions in the corporate design of the original product and the TV and radio company as a whole.
During the period of temporary absence of the head of the production department of the television broadcasting department (illness, vacation, business trip), he performs his duties.
Carries out the instructions of the head of the production department that do not contradict labor laws.
Keeps the workplace clean and tidy.
Observes labor discipline, rules and regulations of labor protection, industrial sanitation and hygiene requirements, fire safety requirements.
Informs the head of the production department of the television broadcasting department and the head of the technical department about the malfunction of the reporting equipment.
Takes part in the weekly planning meetings of the production department of the television broadcasting department.

III. Rights

The chief designer of the production department of the television broadcasting department has the right to:
Request and receive the necessary materials and documents related to the activities of the chief designer of the production department of the television broadcasting department.
Get acquainted with projects for the reorganization and technical re-equipment of the television and radio company in general and the production department of the television broadcasting department in particular.
Submit for consideration by the management proposals for improving the work of the production department of the television broadcasting department, the development of original television projects.
Propose new directions in the design of a television and radio company.

IV. A responsibility

The chief designer of the production department of the television broadcasting department is responsible for:

for improper performance or non-performance of their official duties provided for by this Job Description - in accordance with the current labor legislation of Ukraine;
for offenses committed in the course of their activities - in accordance with the current administrative, criminal and civil legislation of Ukraine;
for causing material damage to a television and radio company - in accordance with the current labor and civil legislation of Ukraine;
for the safety of the technical equipment entrusted to him;
for compliance with the current corporate identity of the TV and radio company and individual projects on the air and on other media.
