I. General Provisions

A system engineer belongs to the category of specialists, is hired and dismissed from work by order of the director of the enterprise on the proposal of the chief engineer.
A person with a higher technical education is appointed to the position of a systems engineer without presenting requirements for work experience.
A person with a higher technical education and work experience in the position of a systems engineer or other engineering and technical positions filled by specialists with higher professional education for at least 3 years is appointed to the position of a system engineer of the II category.
A person with a higher technical education and at least 3 years of experience in the position of a system engineer of the II category is appointed to the position of a system engineer of the XNUMXst category.
The system engineer reports to the chief engineer.
In his work, the system engineer is guided by:

regulatory documents on the work performed;
methodological materials related to relevant issues;
the charter of the enterprise;
labor regulations;
orders and orders of the director of the enterprise (immediate supervisor);
this Job Description.

The system engineer must know:

regulatory legal acts, other guiding methodological and regulatory documents of higher and other bodies on the design and development of components of information, computing and computer systems;
technical and operational characteristics, design features, purpose and modes of operation of the equipment, rules for its technical operation;
computer settings, operating systems and software applications used;
types of technical information carriers, rules for their storage and operation;
current standards for processing and transmitting information;
advanced experience in the field of modern information technologies;
fundamentals of economics, organization of labor and management;
fundamentals of labor legislation;
rules and regulations of labor protection and fire safety.

Category II system engineer, in addition to this, must know:

basic settings of server operating systems;
principles of operation and detailed configuration of the TCP / IP protocol;
principles of network interaction;
fundamentals of information security.

A system engineer of the XNUMXst category, in addition to this, must know:

principles of work of network directories of names;
principles of domain organization;
principles of organization of work in environments with different operating systems;
detailed settings of server operating systems.

During the absence of a systems engineer, his duties are performed in the prescribed manner by an appointed deputy who is fully responsible for the proper performance of the duties assigned to him.

II. Official duties

Properly record the progress of work performed.
To carry out the design and implementation of computer hardware and intelligent computer systems, to conduct research in order to find and select the most appropriate practical solutions within the limits of the tasks.
To carry out the selection, study and generalization of scientific and technical literature, regulatory and methodological materials on the relevant equipment.
Participate in the drafting of technical specifications, plans and schedules for the implementation of new computer hardware and intelligent computer systems, in the development of the necessary technical documentation.
Prepare proposals on the feasibility of introducing modern information systems.
Formulate requirements for the content and construction of technical documentation used in the information system.
To carry out architectural supervision and periodic control of incoming and outgoing documentation.
To carry out debugging, tuning, trial operation and phased commissioning of computer hardware and intelligent computer systems.
Perform maintenance of the information system.
Conduct control checks of the health and effectiveness of the information system.
To study the causes of technical failures and failures in the information system.
Draw up and draw up acts of control checks, develop proposals for their elimination and prevention, to improve the quality and reliability of the information system.

III. Rights

The system engineer has the right to:

Get acquainted with the draft decisions of the management of the enterprise relating to its activities.
Submit proposals for improvement of the work related to the responsibilities provided for in this instruction for consideration by the management.
Receive from the heads of structural divisions, specialists information and documents necessary for the performance of their duties.
Involve specialists from all structural divisions of the enterprise to solve the duties assigned to it (if it is provided for by the regulations on structural divisions, if not, with the permission of the head of the enterprise).
Require the management of the enterprise to assist in the performance of their duties and rights.

IV. A responsibility

The Systems Engineer is responsible for:

For failure to perform (improper performance) of their official duties provided for by this Job Description, within the limits determined by the current labor legislation of Ukraine.
For offenses committed in the course of carrying out their activities - within the limits determined by the current administrative, criminal and civil legislation of Ukraine.
For causing material damage - within the limits determined by the current labor, criminal and civil legislation of Ukraine.

Farizon Auto, a subdivision of the Chinese auto giant Geely, presented an electric truck in Shanghai that can compete with similar products from the world's leading manufacturers. The start of production and sales is scheduled for 2024.

By 2023, the company expects to use some of the features of the autopilot, in 2026 there will be more advanced systems, and by 2030 - completely autonomous. Regulators are expected to prepare changes to local and international laws by this time.
