I. General Provisions

The head of the laboratory of computer technology is appointed to the position by order of the director and directly reports to the deputy director for production issues.
Qualification requirements:

Higher professional education and work experience of at least 5 years in teaching or managerial positions in institutions, organizations and enterprises.
Supervises the work of the laboratory of computer technology.

Is the direct supervisor of the laboratory staff:

system programmer;
local network administrator;
programmers;
electrical engineer;
laboratory assistants.

Its activities are guided by:

the legislation of Ukraine;
this instruction;
plans for the work of the laboratory;
rules and regulations of labor protection and safety;
internal labor regulations;
orders and instructions of the director, deputy director for UPR, deputy director for SD in terms of the educational and methodological process.

The head of the CT laboratory should know:

current legal documents regulating the activities of an educational institution;
organization of financial and economic activities, administrative and labor legislation;
technical requirements and operating instructions for domestic and foreign electronic computers;
technology for the use of personal computers;
rules of internal labor regulations;
rules and regulations of labor protection, safety and fire protection.

II. Official duties

Head of the laboratory of computer technology:

Organizes the current and long-term planning of the laboratory activities and ensures the implementation of these plans.
Manages the work of the information support laboratory in accordance with current and long-term plans.
Organizes work on informatization of the technical school, training of technical school employees for work using informatization tools, software products, training and communication tools.
Participates in the development and writing of software products according to the work plan of the laboratory.
Organizes software maintenance.
Provides advice to employees on the use of software.
Develops curricula for training employees on the use of personal computers.
Conducts informing employees about new software products and their capabilities.
Ensures timely completion of required documentation.
Ensures the safety of information and prevents its unauthorized distribution.
Instructs laboratory workers on labor protection, safety, industrial sanitation and fire protection.
Provides control over the use of technical equipment of the laboratory, compliance with the rules of operation, safety and fire protection when working in the laboratory.
Participates in the selection of personnel, improving their qualifications and motivating their activities.
Monitors compliance with the internal labor regulations by subordinates and students, signs the time sheet.
He improves his pedagogical and professional qualifications, at least once every 5 years passes certification to confirm or improve his qualifications and compliance with his position.

III. Rights

The head of the VT laboratory has the right to:

Supervise the work of subordinate personnel, require strict compliance with their job descriptions.
To take part in solving all issues of the laboratory of computer technology.
Apply for incentives and disciplinary sanctions against laboratory workers subordinate to him in accordance with the Internal Labor Regulations.

IV. A responsibility

The head of the CT laboratory is responsible for:

For the work of subordinate personnel.
For compliance with the rules of labor protection and safety in the laboratory.
For failure to take measures to violate the rules of internal labor regulations by trainees and subordinate employees.
