In accordance with federal law "On the protection of the population and territories from natural and man-made emergencies" citizens of the Russian Federation have the right:

1) to protect life, health and personal property in the event of an emergency;

2) use means of collective and individual protection and other property;

3) be informed about the risk to which they may be exposed in certain places of stay in the country and the necessary security measures;

4) apply personally, as well as send individual and collective appeals to state bodies and local governments on issues of protecting the population and territories from emergencies;

5) participate in accordance with the established procedure in measures to prevent and eliminate emergencies;

6) for compensation for damage caused to their health and property as a result of an emergency;

7) for medical care, compensation and benefits for living and working in emergency zones;

8) for free state social insurance, receiving compensations and benefits for damage caused to their health in the performance of duties during the liquidation of emergency situations;

9) for pensions in case of disability due to an injury or illness received in the course of performing duties to protect the population and territories from emergencies, in the manner established for employees whose disability has occurred as a result of an industrial injury;

10) for pensions in the event of the loss of a breadwinner, who died or died as a result of an injury or illness, received in the performance of duties to protect the population and territories from emergencies in the manner established for the families of citizens who died or died from injury received in the performance of civic duty to rescue human life, protection of property and law and order.

Maxim Integrated Products has introduced the MAX16831, a high-power, high-voltage DC LED driver with analog or PWM controlled dimming.

It integrates a floating current sensing amplifier and a dimmable MOSFET driver to reduce the number of elements and ensure high reliability when driving ultra-bright LEDs in general lighting and automotive applications.
