An arched structure, all other things being equal, will always be stronger, more reliable and cheaper than other types of structures - especially when the arch itself consists of rods that work only in tension and compression. At one time, this was appreciated by the famous mechanic Kulibin, who created a scale model of an arched bridge, with the help of which it was supposed to connect the banks of the Neva.

We offer an arched structure suitable for creating greenhouses, greenhouses, sheds, garages and other structures. The module of such an arch is a rod structure consisting of 240 wooden rods (battens) with a section of 20x50 mm and a length of 0,5 to 1 meter (material volume - 0,2 cubic meters). The area of the module is 15 square meters. By joining such modules, it is possible to obtain arched structures of any area and a wide variety of configurations.

The frame of the arched vault is assembled from relatively short rods (battens) with a section of 20x50 mm, the ends of which are bevelled so that an angle of 162 degrees is formed between the mating rods. Such an angle is provided by a chamfer, the legs of which are 50 mm and 1 7 mm, respectively. In total, for each of the modules, it is necessary to prepare 60 rods of 16 different sizes in accordance with table No. 1. It is also necessary to prepare 16 bolts with an M5 or M6 thread and a length of 150 mm and 5 bolts (also with an M5 or Mb thread) 90 mm long with the appropriate amount nuts and washers. You will also need plank pads with dimensions of 20x50x50 mm.

It is recommended to start mounting the frame from assembling the edge contour of a typical element from parts 1 and 1-1. To do this, in accordance with the assembly scheme, the parts are laid out on a relatively flat area together with the rods adjacent to them in accordance with the assembly scheme. All elements are connected together using metal plates (with a pair of holes in each), which are put on the protruding ends of the bolts and pressed with nuts.

If the arched structure is being built for a greenhouse or conservatory, then a one-piece transparent film coating is provided for them. In this case, it is best to use a polyethylene film 260 centimeters wide - in total, 17,6 m of this material will be required for one greenhouse module. To obtain a spherical surface of the shell, folds 90 mm wide with a step of 592 mm are laid along the entire length of the panel and glued with adhesive tape. By the way, such a tape for gluing the shell for one module will need about 50 running meters.

The side panels are cut out in a similar way - each of them is a semicircle, along the periphery of which folds are also laid - their width is 16 mm and the pitch is 592 mm.

The side and central panels are pre-brushed with a single-thread seam (stitch pitch - 10 mm), and then connected with adhesive tape. Finally, the polyethylene shell is fixed on the frame with nylon cords, forming a kind of mesh.

The technology described above refers to a structure consisting of a single module. However, there are no problems when creating a greenhouse or conservatory from two, three or more modules.

Machine for thinning flowers in gardens 02.05.2024

In modern agriculture, technological progress is developing aimed at increasing the efficiency of plant care processes. The innovative Florix flower thinning machine was presented in Italy, designed to optimize the harvesting stage. This tool is equipped with mobile arms, allowing it to be easily adapted to the needs of the garden. The operator can adjust the speed of the thin wires by controlling them from the tractor cab using a joystick. This approach significantly increases the efficiency of the flower thinning process, providing the possibility of individual adjustment to the specific conditions of the garden, as well as the variety and type of fruit grown in it. After testing the Florix machine for two years on various types of fruit, the results were very encouraging. Farmers such as Filiberto Montanari, who has used a Florix machine for several years, have reported a significant reduction in the time and labor required to thin flowers. ... >>

Advanced Infrared Microscope 02.05.2024

Microscopes play an important role in scientific research, allowing scientists to delve into structures and processes invisible to the eye. However, various microscopy methods have their limitations, and among them was the limitation of resolution when using the infrared range. But the latest achievements of Japanese researchers from the University of Tokyo open up new prospects for studying the microworld. Scientists from the University of Tokyo have unveiled a new microscope that will revolutionize the capabilities of infrared microscopy. This advanced instrument allows you to see the internal structures of living bacteria with amazing clarity on the nanometer scale. Typically, mid-infrared microscopes are limited by low resolution, but the latest development from Japanese researchers overcomes these limitations. According to scientists, the developed microscope allows creating images with a resolution of up to 120 nanometers, which is 30 times higher than the resolution of traditional microscopes. ... >>

Air trap for insects 01.05.2024

Agriculture is one of the key sectors of the economy, and pest control is an integral part of this process. A team of scientists from the Indian Council of Agricultural Research-Central Potato Research Institute (ICAR-CPRI), Shimla, has come up with an innovative solution to this problem - a wind-powered insect air trap. This device addresses the shortcomings of traditional pest control methods by providing real-time insect population data. The trap is powered entirely by wind energy, making it an environmentally friendly solution that requires no power. Its unique design allows monitoring of both harmful and beneficial insects, providing a complete overview of the population in any agricultural area. “By assessing target pests at the right time, we can take necessary measures to control both pests and diseases,” says Kapil ... >>

AI will aim for the player 19.07.2021

Cheating in video games has reached a new level. A special device has been developed that helps the player accurately aim at the enemy. In fact, we are talking about the hardware analogue of Aim Bot. Experts say that this cheat cannot be detected by any protection, since it does not violate the integrity of game files, which is typical for software cheats. The device can be used with both PC and consoles.

Actually, CVCheat is an advanced video capture card that connects to a PC or console using an HDMI connector and monitors the frames transmitted by the GPU to the screen. Using built-in artificial intelligence algorithms and computer vision, CVCheat determines the location of enemies in the central area of the screen where the player is looking.

Next, an algorithm comes into play that accurately calculates how far and in what direction it is necessary to move the mouse in order for the enemy to be in the crosshairs of the sight. CVCheat can determine not only the whole enemy, but also its individual parts of the body, allowing, for example, to distribute headshots effectively. The data collected by the capture card is sent to a special pass-through device, such as the Titan Two or Cronus Zen, which is used to emulate the movement of a mouse or gamepad to aim at the target and fire.

Individually, all devices used to run CVCheat are perfectly legal. For example, the same Titan Two or Cronus Zen cards are used to enable the use of computer mice and keyboards with game consoles, as well as to create game macros. However, together they create an effective cheat that does not require modification of game files, so no anti-cheat can detect it.

CVCHeat has flexible settings that allow you to determine the size of the aiming area, aiming speed, body parts where you want to shoot, and so on. In the current version, CVCheat works on the principle of Triggerbot, that is, it allows you to make accurate shots at the enemy that fell into the area of fine-tuning the sight. In addition, it has a recoil control function after each shot.
