There are several options for home-made electrical devices for cooking, made from "junk", undeservedly perceived at times as useless trash. For example, from an outdated (or even completely leaky) metal pan. In the country and with a lack of time, this is a very acceptable basis for a simple (respectively, cheap and reliable) electric stove. Moreover, a high pan is better suited here - 140 mm or more. Having become a body in a home-made design, it will warm up less. The handles of such a tile can be taken without any gloves even after many hours of continuous work - burns are excluded.

To fix the burner in the center of the bottom of the pan, a hole was drilled for the M6 pin, and at an appropriate distance (depending on the specific type of electric heater used), an opening for the terminal block was cut with a chisel. The dimensions of the opening "a" and "b" are maintained with maximum accuracy in order to reduce gaps during assembly.

For the ultimate simplification of the design, it was necessary to abandon the electric regulator of the degree of heating of the burner. And for the greatest power, turn on the electric coils in parallel.

Another version of a homemade electric stove has a more perfect shape. As a housing for it, a metal casing from a magnetic starter was used. But it is better, of course, to weld from sheet metal with a thickness of 0,8 - 1,5 mm. And round the sharp edges with a file. Special gussets are provided in the corners in the lower part of the body. Each one has an M6 threaded hole. The bolts screwed in here (with locknuts) not only allow you to adjust the legs in height (and install the electric stove horizontally), but can also serve as fasteners when installing a removable bottom (the latter is conventionally not shown).

Mounting the burner does not differ from the previously considered option. Wiring is best done with a single-core copper wire (cross section 1 - 1,5 mm2) in heat-resistant fiberglass insulation. For example, from old household electric furnaces of the Lysva type. In extreme cases, you can also use an analogue with rubber insulation.

An additional function of the PME-23-5230 power regulator-switch when used in the considered design is that it also serves as a kind of terminal block. To do this, unscrew the screw on the output with the number 4. Then, loosening the fixing screw (on the side opposite from the handle mounting), remove everything from the cell with the outputs "4" and "6" that contributes to the occurrence of electrical contact between them. And after tightening the fixing screw, make sure that the terminals are completely isolated from each other.

The convenience of using a light indicator from an iron (a 3,5 V light bulb connected to the ends of a small spiral in series with a burner) is not so much in signaling the inclusion of the latter in the power grid, but in the ability (by the brightness of this light bulb) to judge the degree of heating of the working surface of the electric stove ( current and power delivered to the load).

The third version of a homemade tile is a two-burner one. Here, the power (the total value is taken into account) is already twice as large, and the aesthetics of execution are higher than those considered earlier. In particular, indicator lamps are in carbolite flashlight cartridges from decommissioned radio equipment. There is a terminal for connecting a protective earth. And the installation of kilowatt burners is made in the image and likeness of modern factory-made electric stoves. This completely eliminates the leakage of fat and moisture on the terminal blocks during cooking. By the way, a similar method of attaching the burners can be used in all the previously considered variants of home-made electric stoves.

LG has unveiled the first consumer model of the OLED M wireless TV. It is capable of playing 4K/120Hz video and audio transmitted over wireless connections.
