Who used the Albanian language at the beginning of the 20th century?

In 1916, the futurist Zdanevich wrote a play without observing the normative rules of spelling and using "Albanian language". The language of the bastards that appeared in the 2000s, whose spelling is built on similar principles, is sometimes called the "Albanian language", but the coincidence with Zdanevich's experience is accidental.

Random interesting fact from the Great Encyclopedia:

Why didn't the President of the United States congratulate the four-time Olympic champion in any way?

The Olympic Games of 1936 in Berlin were supposed, according to Hitler, to prove to the whole world the superiority of German athletes and the Aryan race as a whole. These plans were broken by the American black athlete Jesse Owens, who won four gold medals in running and jumping. Hitler did not shake hands with him, although this did not concern Owens personally - the Fuhrer, in principle, refused to shake hands with winners from other countries, but after the Olympics he sent memorable letters to all of them with his photograph. But US President Franklin Delano Roosevelt did not encourage the champion in any way - neither by an invitation to the White House, nor even by a telegram.

Artificial leather for touch emulation 15.04.2024

In a modern technology world where distance is becoming increasingly commonplace, maintaining connection and a sense of closeness is important. Recent developments in artificial skin by German scientists from Saarland University represent a new era in virtual interactions. German researchers from Saarland University have developed ultra-thin films that can transmit the sensation of touch over a distance. This cutting-edge technology provides new opportunities for virtual communication, especially for those who find themselves far from their loved ones. The ultra-thin films developed by the researchers, just 50 micrometers thick, can be integrated into textiles and worn like a second skin. These films act as sensors that recognize tactile signals from mom or dad, and as actuators that transmit these movements to the baby. Parents' touch to the fabric activates sensors that react to pressure and deform the ultra-thin film. This ... >>

The attractiveness of caring men 14.04.2024

The stereotype that women prefer "bad boys" has long been widespread. However, recent research conducted by British scientists from Monash University offers a new perspective on this issue. They looked at how women responded to men's emotional responsibility and willingness to help others. The study's findings could change our understanding of what makes men attractive to women. A study conducted by scientists from Monash University leads to new findings about men's attractiveness to women. In the experiment, women were shown photographs of men with brief stories about their behavior in various situations, including their reaction to an encounter with a homeless person. Some of the men ignored the homeless man, while others helped him, such as buying him food. A study found that men who showed empathy and kindness were more attractive to women compared to men who showed empathy and kindness. ... >>

Dead Sea Manuscripts 01.05.2011

In 1947, in caves on the western shore of the Dead Sea, they found scrolls sealed in clay vessels with passages and different versions of the Old Testament, as well as texts close to the content of the Gospel.

These documents, which are still being studied, shed light on the history of the Middle East and the history of religion. But it is still unclear where they were created: according to one theory, directly in the area near the Dead Sea (Wadi Qumran oasis) where they were found, according to another, they were written in Jerusalem and were hidden in caves when the city was destroyed by the Romans. Most of the texts are written on sheets of parchment.

The results of a study conducted by the Italian National Laboratory of Nuclear Physics in Catania, rather, confirm the first version. Activation analysis showed that when parchment was made from leather, it was soaked in water containing the same salts as in the water of the Dead Sea.

True, this does not necessarily mean that they wrote in the same place where the parchment was made, but still such a probability is high.
