Japanese beekeepers prefer to breed European bees, which are more honey-bearing than the endemic Japanese bees. However, the hives are often attacked by the Japanese subspecies of Asian huge hornets, one individual of which can kill forty bees in a minute.

Who built the first lighthouse?
