Nicolas Toussaint Charlet

Phraseologism: Chauvinism.

Meaning: Aggressive ultranationalism.

Origin: The primary source was popular prints ("pictures from Epinal") on military topics, the author of which was the French artist Nicolas-Toussaint Charlet.
