Meaning: About the internal conflict of romantic emotions and reasoning.

Origin: From the comedy "Woe from Wit" (1824) by A. S. Griboyedov (1795-1829). So Chatsky speaks about himself in a conversation with Sophia (act. 1, yavl. 7).

Origin:
