Origin: From the song "How Young We Were" written by the composer Alexandra Pakhmutova to the words of the poet Nikolai Dobronravov (b. 1928) for the film "My Love in the Third Year" (1976).

Origin:

The title of the story (1973) by the Soviet writer Irina Alexandrovna Velembovskaya (pseudonym I. A. Shukhgalter, 1922-1990). The expression became popular after the film adaptation (1976, directed by Vladimir Fetin) of this story.
