Meaning: Usually serves to define a loyal, equal relationship with someone, without friendship, but without enmity (jokingly ironic.).

Origin: From the report of the Commissioner for Foreign Affairs of the Soviet government Georgy Vasilievich Chicherin (1872-1936) at a meeting of the All-Russian Central Executive Committee (1920): "Our slogan is peaceful coexistence with other governments, whatever they may be." In the form of "peaceful cohabitation" the expression was used by V. I. Random phraseology:

The second "I".

The ultra-thin films developed by the researchers, just 50 micrometers thick, can be integrated into textiles and worn like a second skin. These films act as sensors that recognize tactile signals from mom or dad, and as actuators that transmit these movements to the baby. Parents' touch to the fabric activates sensors that react to pressure and deform the ultra-thin film. This ... >>
