HTC One X+ 03.10.2012

HTC has announced a new smartphone model - HTC One X + - which will replace the HTC One X and lead the lineup.

HTC One X+ has the same Nvidia Tegra 4 quad-core processor as the previous model and the same 3GB of RAM. The amount of built-in flash memory is 1 or 16 GB (microSD slot is not provided). The processor frequency has increased from 32 to 1,5 GHz. The size and resolution of the display also remained the same: 1,7 inches, 4,7 x 1280 pixels. The dimensions of the smartphone have not changed: 720 x 134,4 x 69,9 mm. Weight increased slightly - up to 8,9 g.

In addition to the increased frequency of the processor and double the amount of flash memory, HTC One X + has a higher capacity battery - 2100 mAh versus 1800 mAh in the previous generation model. The overclocked processor has improved performance by 67%, while the new battery provides up to 6 hours more talk time than the HTC One X, SlashGear reports citing an official source.

HTC One X+ has a slightly updated case - made of matte plastic, with red accents on the back. According to SlashGear, the new model is a 'polished version' of the HTC One X, which went on sale just six months ago.

The smartphone is based on the Android 4.1 Jelly Bean platform, equipped with a proprietary HTC Sense 4+ shell and updated Beats Audio sound technology. The resolution of the main camera is 8 MP (there is an LED flash), the front camera is 1,6 MP. The smartphone has support for GPS and GLONASS.
