Razer Cobra Pro Wireless Gaming Mouse

Razer, the leading manufacturer of gaming devices, has unveiled its new premium Cobra Pro gaming mouse, highly customizable and full of buttons.

There are 7 buttons on the top of the device, and 10 buttons on the sides and one on the bottom. Every button is fully customizable, and Razer takes this customization to the next level. Cobra Pro supports up to 5 profiles and instantly switches between settings according to the selected game. In addition, the mouse integrates with Razer Hypershift, which temporarily adds extra functionality to each button.

In addition, the mouse has customizable RGB lighting. The Razer Cobra Pro boasts 11 separate Chroma RGB zones, each with up to 17 million color shades.

The novelty is equipped with an optical sensor Focus Pro 30K and a new generation of optical switches. The Cobra Pro is also compatible with the Razer Mouse Dock Pro (sold separately), which boosts the polling rate to 4000Hz. Connectivity to the system is via Razer's HyperSpeed ​​Wireless or Bluetooth technology. In the first case, the battery lasts for 100 hours of battery life, and in the second - for 170 hours. A USB-C cable is included to charge the battery.

The price for the Razer Cobra Pro is $120. The company also offers a more affordable $8 Razer Cobra wired model with 40 customizable buttons.

Canon Speedlite 470EX-A Smart Flash 01.03.2018

The Japanese company Canon has developed the Speedlite 470EX-AI flash with artificial intelligence, which is able to independently choose the optimal direction of light for the most uniform illumination of objects photographed by the camera.

For shooting in low light conditions, cameras use flashes - both built-in and more powerful external ones. Such devices allow you to illuminate the subject, but if you shoot the flash directly at the subject, it will turn out to be too bright in the photo, and the background will be dark and with contrasting shadows. To make the lighting more uniform, multiple sources are usually used.

When studio equipment is difficult to use, in the field, photographers aim their flash at another surface that reflects light, or attach diffusers to the flash. Canon decided to make their work easier for photographers and designed the Speedlite 470EX-AI flash, which automatically selects the optimal direction for lighting using artificial intelligence.

In auto mode, the flash turns towards the subject and illuminates it to calculate the distance, and then turns towards the ceiling or walls and calculates the distance to them. Having determined the position of the object in the surrounding space, the device calculates the most suitable angle for uniform illumination. However, nothing prevents the photographer from choosing the angle of illumination in manual and semi-automatic modes.

From the outside, the 470EX-AI flash looks just like any other flash, but inside it has motors in the base and hinge, and a sensor in the corner of the bezel. The maximum flash-to-subject distance is seven meters. Case dimensions are 74,6 x 130,4 x 105,1 mm, weight - 385 grams (excluding batteries). The smart flash will go on sale in April for $399.
