How to put on the table a card conceived by the spectator before he calls it.

Focus secret:

You invite the viewer to imagine a map. After this, another spectator, at your request, shuffles the deck. The third spectator removes the shuffled deck. Then you choose a card from the deck and, without revealing it, place it face down on the table. Hold the rest of the deck in your left hand.

You say to the spectator who has the card in mind: “Your card is now on the table. Name it, please.” The path this will be is the king of diamonds. Then you say that you will show the audience that this card is not in the rest of the deck.

Approaching the audience, you begin to quickly move through the cards, meeting the king of diamonds, you push it back with the middle finger of your right hand. Having proven that the named card is not in the deck, you turn the cards over, the king, which you hide in your palm, is on top.

Leaving the deck to the spectators, you go to the table and take the card lying there with the same hand in which the king of diamonds is hidden. By sliding the card back to the edge of the table, you cause it to fall into a secret recess in the table. And you show everyone the hidden king of diamonds.

If, when performing a trick, you have a regular table, then we can offer a different ending.

You boldly approach the table and take the card lying on it with your right hand, in which the required card is already hidden. Without looking at the card you say: “Here is the king of diamonds.” At the same time, you show the audience this card. Everyone tells you that this is the wrong card.

Now you look at the map and look amazed. Take the card face down between the thumb and middle fingers of your left hand. With the words: “I don’t know how such an error could happen. Now I’ll fix it” - you replace the card using the fifth method. And show the audience the desired card. Everyone, of course, will think that you made a mistake on purpose.
