EFFECTIVE FOCUSES AND THEIR CLUES Tambourine session (several tricks). Focus secret Directory / Spectacular tricks and their clues Session description: From two metal rings or a sheet of thin paper, the artist makes an impromptu tambourine (or tambourine) in front of the public. She strikes the tambourine with her wand, rips through the paper, and pulls out an endless streamer of serpentine through the opening. Then, from a ball of serpentine, she takes out flowers, live rabbits, pigeons, sweets, etc. Props:. 1. Two metal rings that fit one into the other. The rings are made in such a way that a sheet of paper can be laid between them and stretched. Rings with stretched paper will be like a tambourine (tambourine) or embroidery hoop. 2. Serpentine coil. 3. A sheet of white paper. 4. Flowers or objects that the performer will take out of the tambourine. 5. Scissors. 6. "Salon" table round or square. 7. "Servant". Rings, paper and scissors are placed on the table. The coil of serpentine is placed under the tablecloth or on the "sideboard" so that the end of the ribbon comes out of the coil by half a centimeter. The tablecloth spreads flush with the side of the table to which the sideboard is attached. Those items that must be removed from the tambourine are placed on a "sideboard" attached behind the back of a chair or table. Session demo: The performer shows the rings and paper to the public (Fig. 93), saying: "From these two metal rings and a simple sheet of paper I will make a tambourine - a tambourine."
Lay one ring on the table and a sheet of paper on top of it. Place the second ring on top of the paper and slide the rings one into the other. Press until the paper is pulled tight, then with the words: "Now I have to slightly trim the edges of it" - show the tambourine to the public (Fig. 94).
Gently place the paper and rings back on the table, just in the place where the spool of serpentine is hidden. Take the scissors with your right hand, lifting the tambourine with your left. During this movement, the fingers of the left hand grab the coil of the serpentine and press it tightly with the plane of the coil to the side of the tambourine invisible to the viewer (Fig. 95).
When trimming the tambourine and trimming off any excess paper, keep the era upright. Tell the audience: "Now the impromptu tambourine is ready. I'll try to play something on it." Taking a wand, sharply hit the tambourine, making a small hole in its center (Fig. 96).
"Oh, what a misfortune!" you exclaim. With these words, put aside the stick and pull out a small piece of serpentine (Fig. 97).
"Wow. There seems to be an infinite amount of it." Take the stick in your hand again, wrap it around the serpentine ribbon and continue to pull it out of the tambourine and wind it around the stick, rotating the latter from right to left in wide circles with a diameter of approximately 30 cm. The pulled ribbon seems endless, it forms a huge bundle in the right hand (Fig. 98) . Keep the fingers of your left hand behind the tambourine, and you can easily feel when the tape comes to an end. Then you throw a mass of serpentine on the sideboard, covering with serpentine objects that will have to be removed from the tambourine at the end of the trick.
Looking sadly at the empty torn tambourine (Fig. 99), you say: "I don't think there's anything else in this tambourine. Yes. There's nothing else in it."
Turning to a girl in the audience and pointing to a bunch of serpentine, say: "Maybe you, girl, use this paper for the carnival? I'll bring it all to you now." Gather a whole bunch of serpentine in an armful and grab with it, along with the "sergeant", everything that you intend to show to the public. "Here you are! Oh! What is it? Who is it? (Pulls out a live cat). What a cute kitten! Whom should I give it to? Maybe you, girl, will take a cat instead of carnival serpentine?" (Fig. 100).
It often happens that a magician, speaking at children's matinees, performs a trick with a tambourine to present gifts to children. They are packed in advance in beautiful bags with a pattern, tied with a colored ribbon and placed directly on the floor of the stage near the side portal, carefully covered with cloth, a stage curtain or a screen. An armful of serpentine is not placed on the "sideboard" in the table, but is thrown directly on the floor, close to the gifts; under the pretext that the screen interferes with work, they move it away and imperceptibly throw a streamer over the whole pile of gifts. Then both gifts and serpentine are lifted from the floor and either placed on the table or carried to the public. Gradually taking gifts out of the serpentine, they are distributed to children. Of course, the gifts that appeared in such a "wonderful" way are accepted by children with special pleasure. Author: Vadimov A.A.
