Tray with secret passages for coins. Focus secret: The whole secret of this simple number is in the tray shown in fig. 46. It has a double bottom and is painted with oil paints; the pattern is chosen so that it well masks the holes for the exit of coins.
Between the real and the false bottom, the sides are soldered with a height of a hundredth, a little more than the thickness of a five-kopeck coin and a little wider, so that the coins can easily enter and move along this course. On each side of the tray there is a hole through which the coppers are loaded into the tray. Its size is approximately 13x25 cm. The dotted line in the figure shows moves - places for coins. The device is so simple that it does not require explanation. We add that when working, the tray should be held by the short sides so that the audience does not find holes. To "charge" the tray with coins, coppers are lowered into the hole. Standing up, one side is charged first, then, covering the hole with a finger, the tray is turned over and its other side is charged. It is necessary to pour coins from the tray with a sharp movement so that the coins from the course fall into the pouch at the same time as the coppers on the tray. Author: Vadimov A.A.
