Focus Description:

The assistant, holding a tray or large dish in his hands, goes on stage. Taking the “magic” wand in his hands, the performer touches it to the assistant’s mouth. An egg appears from the assistant's mouth. The magician, having put the wand in his pocket, takes the egg with his left hand, places it on the dish and stands on the right side of the assistant, in whose mouth the egg again appears.

The performer takes out the egg with his right hand and places it on the dish (Fig. 12), then again moves to the left side.

A third egg appears in the assistant's mouth, the magician takes it with his left hand and places it on the dish. He goes over to the right side again, and the same thing is repeated again. The performer does this ten to twelve times, after which he bows, while the assistant, intending to leave, turns his back to the audience - and everyone sees that a wire basket with eggs is hanging behind his back (Fig. 13).

Props:

Half an egg shell (sharp, coated inside with a thin layer of hot sealing wax for strength).

Real whole egg.

About twenty to twenty-five artificial eggs. They can be wooden, painted and sprinkled with chalk on wet paint.

A wire basket (Fig. 13), which can easily be attached to the back of an assistant. Through the wire, the eggs placed in the basket are clearly visible to the audience.

Dish or egg tray.

Focus secret:

The secret of this original number is simple and clear from the previous descriptions. It should only be said that the assistant puts the egg shell in his mouth in advance, before going on stage. When the performer pretends to take the egg, the assistant closes his mouth (the egg is not visible), then opens it again and lightly pushes out the shell with his tongue, doing this several times.

When the illusionist approaches the assistant for the first time, he discreetly holds an egg in his left hand and a wand in his right hand.

Now the egg appeared in the assistant’s mouth. The magician puts his wand in his pocket and, standing to his left, pretends to take the egg from his mouth. In fact, the assistant closes his mouth, and at this time the performer unclenches his hand and shows the audience an egg, which is sandwiched between the index and thumb of his left hand. Putting the egg on the tray, he quietly takes a new egg from the basket with his right hand. Taking it, he moves to the right side, and everything repeats again. The eggs are taken “from the mouth” alternately, sometimes with the right hand, sometimes with the left hand.

For variety, you can put several eggs in the right and left pockets in advance and take them out quietly when turning.

This is a very simple number, but we included it in the program because if it is performed seriously, it will cause cheerful laughter in the audience.

Artificial leather for touch emulation 15.04.2024

In a modern technology world where distance is becoming increasingly commonplace, maintaining connection and a sense of closeness is important. Recent developments in artificial skin by German scientists from Saarland University represent a new era in virtual interactions. German researchers from Saarland University have developed ultra-thin films that can transmit the sensation of touch over a distance. This cutting-edge technology provides new opportunities for virtual communication, especially for those who find themselves far from their loved ones. The ultra-thin films developed by the researchers, just 50 micrometers thick, can be integrated into textiles and worn like a second skin. These films act as sensors that recognize tactile signals from mom or dad, and as actuators that transmit these movements to the baby. Parents' touch to the fabric activates sensors that react to pressure and deform the ultra-thin film. This ... >>

The attractiveness of caring men 14.04.2024

The stereotype that women prefer "bad boys" has long been widespread. However, recent research conducted by British scientists from Monash University offers a new perspective on this issue. They looked at how women responded to men's emotional responsibility and willingness to help others. The study's findings could change our understanding of what makes men attractive to women. A study conducted by scientists from Monash University leads to new findings about men's attractiveness to women. In the experiment, women were shown photographs of men with brief stories about their behavior in various situations, including their reaction to an encounter with a homeless person. Some of the men ignored the homeless man, while others helped him, such as buying him food. A study found that men who showed empathy and kindness were more attractive to women compared to men who showed empathy and kindness. ... >>
