Focus Description:

The magician and the spectator each have half the deck in their hands. They each deal their half one card face down on the table in two piles, randomly separating the red cards from the black ones. At the end, the cards are shown face up - and indeed, all the reds are with the reds, and the blacks are with the blacks.

Focus secret:

This is the easiest trick you can do with a prepared deck. You will need a deck with all red cards on top and black cards on the bottom.

1. Pull the deck out of your pocket, turn it face up and divide it into two parts: put the red cards in one hand and the black cards in the other. Of course, the audience should not see this. Extend one half of the deck to one of the spectators, say Tanya, asking him to keep the deck face down and not look at the face of the cards.

2. After asking Tanya to stand opposite or next to you, tell her that both of you will divide the cards into black and red, following your intuition. Tell her that all she has to do is repeat after you.

3. Begin each holding their half of the deck face down in their left hand. Tell Tanya: "This may surprise you, but if you believe in yourself, you can sometimes feel where the black card is and where the red card is. Just clear your mind and deal the cards on the table in two piles face down. The first pile will be cards that your intuition tells you are red, and in the second - black. I'm starting, I have to do the same. Let's see who does better. "

4. Start dealing your cards in two piles, while saying randomly: "Red, red, black, red, black, black, black, red", etc. Make sure Tanya does the same, but as soon as she starts, stop saying "red, black", just deal the cards in two piles. Keep about the same rhythm as Tanya, so soon you will both finish dealing, and you will have two piles of cards in front of you: one, presumably with red cards, and the second with black cards.

5. You must now collect all four piles. Be careful not to say something like "This is your red stack and this is mine" or similarly indicate "No, you're collecting my reds and your blacks" or anything equally inappropriate.

6. Before speaking, gather the stack of Tanya cards closest to you on your right with your right hand and place it face down in your left hand. Take your stack on the right and put it on top, and then put the stack on the left on top of it. Now take the entire pile that is in your left hand and carefully place it on top of the rest of Tanya's cards that are still on the table, then collect the entire deck. Note that all your cards are collected at one end of the deck, and Tannin's cards are at the other. When assembling the deck, tell the spectators: "Now, if both I and Tanya did everything right, all the black cards will be with blacks and all the reds with reds, but I think it would be too arrogant to expect this. Let's see how close we got to it."

7. Fan out the cards on the table and take a look: all the red cards are located at one end of the deck, and the black ones at the other.
