Focus Description:

This trick is very difficult if done according to all the rules of art. Usually, talking heads are made of wax with a moving jaw and eyes, and a telephone is held inside the head. But let's leave such tricks to do on stage, and we'll do it ourselves in a simpler way.

Focus secret:

You need to buy a Christmas mask and make the back of your head out of paper or cardboard and tie it with a scarf; then fill some artificial bust with cotton and attach it to the head, placing the head on a table near the wall. A hole must be made in the wall and a thin rubber tube should be drawn from there, which would go to the talking head and enter inside it.

In another room, a hidden assistant should be sitting, who needs to answer the questions asked. This trick, skillfully and subtly done, always arouses surprise.

Machine for thinning flowers in gardens 02.05.2024

In modern agriculture, technological progress is developing aimed at increasing the efficiency of plant care processes. The innovative Florix flower thinning machine was presented in Italy, designed to optimize the harvesting stage. This tool is equipped with mobile arms, allowing it to be easily adapted to the needs of the garden. The operator can adjust the speed of the thin wires by controlling them from the tractor cab using a joystick. This approach significantly increases the efficiency of the flower thinning process, providing the possibility of individual adjustment to the specific conditions of the garden, as well as the variety and type of fruit grown in it. After testing the Florix machine for two years on various types of fruit, the results were very encouraging. Farmers such as Filiberto Montanari, who has used a Florix machine for several years, have reported a significant reduction in the time and labor required to thin flowers. ... >>

Advanced Infrared Microscope 02.05.2024

Microscopes play an important role in scientific research, allowing scientists to delve into structures and processes invisible to the eye. However, various microscopy methods have their limitations, and among them was the limitation of resolution when using the infrared range. But the latest achievements of Japanese researchers from the University of Tokyo open up new prospects for studying the microworld. Scientists from the University of Tokyo have unveiled a new microscope that will revolutionize the capabilities of infrared microscopy. This advanced instrument allows you to see the internal structures of living bacteria with amazing clarity on the nanometer scale. Typically, mid-infrared microscopes are limited by low resolution, but the latest development from Japanese researchers overcomes these limitations. According to scientists, the developed microscope allows creating images with a resolution of up to 120 nanometers, which is 30 times higher than the resolution of traditional microscopes. ... >>

Air trap for insects 01.05.2024

Agriculture is one of the key sectors of the economy, and pest control is an integral part of this process. A team of scientists from the Indian Council of Agricultural Research-Central Potato Research Institute (ICAR-CPRI), Shimla, has come up with an innovative solution to this problem - a wind-powered insect air trap. This device addresses the shortcomings of traditional pest control methods by providing real-time insect population data. The trap is powered entirely by wind energy, making it an environmentally friendly solution that requires no power. Its unique design allows monitoring of both harmful and beneficial insects, providing a complete overview of the population in any agricultural area. “By assessing target pests at the right time, we can take necessary measures to control both pests and diseases,” says Kapil ... >>

battery life extension gadget 14.06.2022

The American corporation Batteroo Corporation, under the leadership of the holder of a doctoral degree in electrical engineering, Bob Ruparvar, has developed a device called the Batteriser.

The invention could deal a major blow to the $3,4 billion disposable battery industry in the US alone.

The exclusivity of the invention is emphasized by the fact that not so long ago the office of the Batteroo Corporation was attacked, during which the prototypes of the invention and data carriers were stolen.

Fortunately, Ruparvar has already managed to patent a proprietary technology that will significantly increase the efficiency of disposable batteries.

The fact is that such batteries usually create a voltage of 1,5 V, which is required to power small devices, but as soon as the voltage drops to 1,35-1,4 V, many devices recognize the battery as discharged. And up to this point, only 20% of the battery resource is consumed. The invention of Batteroo Corporation will increase this figure to 80%, which will extend battery life by 5-9 times, depending on the device.

The very idea of increasing the capacity of the battery life is not new, but only the creators of Batteriser managed to implement the technology in the form of a metal sleeve 0,1 mm thick, which is put on the battery and still allows it to fit into the compartment.

Ruparvar has already proven the effectiveness of the technology, demonstrating how a battery that gives a voltage of 1,3 V, after being placed in a Batteriser, delivers the prescribed 1,5 V.

You can use the Batteriser itself an infinite number of times until the body of the device is damaged. In addition to significant cost savings, such a decision will have a positive impact on the ecology of the planet. According to Ruparvar, only 2% of alkaline batteries are disposed of properly, and the rest ends up in landfills, leading to serious soil contamination. Every year, 15 billion of these batteries end up in landfills.

Rupawar has already turned down investments from a major battery manufacturer to avoid being influenced by them in the future. Funds for the project are planned to be raised on the Indiegogo crowdfunding site, where Batteriser will appear at the end of June. The first copies will be available in September for $10 for a set of four devices.
