Focus Description:

There is a ball on the tray. Take the jug, turn it upside down and cover the ball. Immediately lift the jug - there is already a ball of a different color under it. Place the jug on this ball, covering it. When you pick it up, a ball of a new color will appear on the tray. In exactly the same way, a ball from this color will turn into another. At the end, the last ball will return to its original color.

Focus secret:

The secret of the trick is in the design of the jug. The neck of the jug is closed with a light metal plate with two holes, each with a diameter slightly larger than the size of the ball. Both holes of the plate are connected to the entrances of a tube curved inside the jug, which is filled with multi-colored balls.

The jug is placed on the ball on the tray with one of the holes in the plate, and the ball is pushed inside the tube. He presses from below on a set of balls located in the tube, causing the entire set of balls to move and the outermost one of this set moves out of another hole (in the figure, the direction of movement of the balls is shown by arrows). If you now lift the jug, there will be another ball on the table.

The holes in the plate are closed with thin rubber bands. They hold the balls inside the tube and prevent them from falling out. And their flexibility allows the balls to enter and exit when the jug is pressed. When making a jug, the size of the balls and the length of the tube must be selected so that inside the tube there is a space slightly longer than half the diameter of the ball. This is necessary not only so that the ball has the opportunity to move into the jug (that is, into the tube), but also to roll out of there.

Researchers at the University of Toronto have concluded that head-up displays (HUDs) in cars can have a negative impact on road safety.

Traditional HUD screens display information on the windshield in the driver's line of sight.
