Space Perspective has agreed to lease a space and provide pre-flight preparation services at the Kosmodrome. Kennedy in Florida. The startup was launched back in 2013 by Taber McCallum and Jane Pointer. The very first experiments showed that they were far from building a large balloon, so in the following years the company launched small balloons with various souvenirs as part of the popularization of the idea. The most significant was an advertising contract with KFC to launch a chicken sandwich into the stratosphere. And now Space Perspective says they are ready to send people flying.

The announcement uses the term "flight to the edge of space" and gives a value of 100 feet (about 000 km). However, according to the generally accepted interpretation, space begins three times further, from a height of at least 30 km. So it will be a flight in the stratosphere, and not very high - the famous Felix Baumgartner skydived from 100 km, and later there were jumps from high altitudes.

On the other hand, the declared altitude is three times that of the one at which aircraft flights are made, so the average tourist had no chance to go so far from Earth before. The flight will take place above the troposphere, in exotic conditions, while promising a good view from the capsule, a bar and a toilet on board. The cost of one seat is $75 thousand, the date of the flight has not yet been specified.

Engineers from the University of Oxford have developed an interesting kit that turns almost any car into an automatic, that is, not requiring a driver. With the help of a kit called RobotCar, the Nissan LEAF electric car has already been converted into a robot.

The RobotCar system consists of two main parts: optical sensors that detect obstacles, and computers that process signals and control movement. While driving, RobotCar continuously builds a three-dimensional route map, supplemented with information such as the type of road markings, road signs, traffic lights, aerial photographs. The map of the area can be supplemented manually or updated via the Internet.
