A series of integrated stabilizers of fixed positive voltage KR1158ENxx, KF1158ENxx with a low input-output voltage drop covers the output voltage range from 3 to 15 V. All stabilizers are designed for a wide range of applications and are ideal for the needs of automotive electronics, as they have built-in protection against input voltage surges when the generator load is reset to 60 V, protection when the input voltage is connected in reverse polarity and from overheating IS. To limit the dissipated power, blocking of the output voltage is introduced at an input voltage of more than 30V. Stabilizers do not fail when the outputs are connected in a mirror sequence for a short time.

Chips are produced with an output characteristic when the output short circuit protection is triggered, both with and without power limitation.

The closest functional analogues are microcircuits L48хх, L4945, LM2930, LM2931 of SGS-THOMSON firm.
