Walking with a friend, you often want to listen to the player together. But connecting a second pair of headphones to it is inconvenient. So I decided to use the radio channel. To do this, I added a radio transmitter to the player, and gave a radio receiver with a VHF (FM) range to a friend. The power of the radio transmitter (see figure), of course, is small, but it is enough to receive the signal from the AF player at a distance of several meters.

Player - for two

The input of the radio transmitter is connected to the output of the player in parallel with the headphones. The variable resistor R1 regulates the level of modulation, and hence the volume of the sound and its quality. The RF generator, assembled on a transistor, generates oscillations with a frequency of about 100 MHz, which depends on the parameters of the L1C4 circuit.

Through the communication coil L2, the modulated (in frequency) oscillations enter the antenna WA1 - a piece of wire of short length (15 ... 20 cm), if the receiver is located close. In the case when a bicycle ride is supposed, it is best to use a bicycle frame as an antenna and connect the wire to it.

In addition to the transistor indicated on the diagram, you can use KT306G, KT306D or another low-power microwave structure npn or pnp (in this case, you need to change the polarity of the power source). Fixed resistors - MLT0,125, variable - any small-sized, capacitors KM6 (C2), K53-14 (C6), KLS, KT (others). Coils are wound with PEV or PEL wire on a frame with a diameter of 7 and a length of 10 ... 12 mm, glued from cardboard or thick paper. Coil L1 should contain 6 turns, L2 - 3 turns. The coils are placed side by side.

The details of the radio transmitter are mounted in a small case by surface mounting or on a printed circuit board. The case is fixed on the player's case. In the case of powering the radio transmitter from the source of the player, you should install an RC filter, shown in the diagram below on the right.

Machine for thinning flowers in gardens 02.05.2024

In modern agriculture, technological progress is developing aimed at increasing the efficiency of plant care processes. The innovative Florix flower thinning machine was presented in Italy, designed to optimize the harvesting stage. This tool is equipped with mobile arms, allowing it to be easily adapted to the needs of the garden. The operator can adjust the speed of the thin wires by controlling them from the tractor cab using a joystick. This approach significantly increases the efficiency of the flower thinning process, providing the possibility of individual adjustment to the specific conditions of the garden, as well as the variety and type of fruit grown in it. After testing the Florix machine for two years on various types of fruit, the results were very encouraging. Farmers such as Filiberto Montanari, who has used a Florix machine for several years, have reported a significant reduction in the time and labor required to thin flowers. ... >>

Advanced Infrared Microscope 02.05.2024

Microscopes play an important role in scientific research, allowing scientists to delve into structures and processes invisible to the eye. However, various microscopy methods have their limitations, and among them was the limitation of resolution when using the infrared range. But the latest achievements of Japanese researchers from the University of Tokyo open up new prospects for studying the microworld. Scientists from the University of Tokyo have unveiled a new microscope that will revolutionize the capabilities of infrared microscopy. This advanced instrument allows you to see the internal structures of living bacteria with amazing clarity on the nanometer scale. Typically, mid-infrared microscopes are limited by low resolution, but the latest development from Japanese researchers overcomes these limitations. According to scientists, the developed microscope allows creating images with a resolution of up to 120 nanometers, which is 30 times higher than the resolution of traditional microscopes. ... >>

Air trap for insects 01.05.2024

Agriculture is one of the key sectors of the economy, and pest control is an integral part of this process. A team of scientists from the Indian Council of Agricultural Research-Central Potato Research Institute (ICAR-CPRI), Shimla, has come up with an innovative solution to this problem - a wind-powered insect air trap. This device addresses the shortcomings of traditional pest control methods by providing real-time insect population data. The trap is powered entirely by wind energy, making it an environmentally friendly solution that requires no power. Its unique design allows monitoring of both harmful and beneficial insects, providing a complete overview of the population in any agricultural area. “By assessing target pests at the right time, we can take necessary measures to control both pests and diseases,” says Kapil ... >>

Which language is the easiest 02.01.2002

Despite its prevalence in the world as a language of international communication and the idea that it is the easiest to learn, English is the most difficult of the European languages.

In any case, it is the most difficult to learn to read on it. Children of other nations learn the basics of literacy in an average year, and little Englishmen need two and a half years for this. This conclusion was reached after an extensive study by the English philologist Philip Seymour, who compared teaching children to read in 15 European countries.

It turned out that children from countries with Romance languages (France, Italy) achieve rapid progress, while it is more difficult to learn to read in the languages of the Germanic group (German, English). English literacy is especially difficult to master. And in English-speaking countries, there are more children suffering from dyslexia - difficulty in understanding written text.

The complexity of English lies in the fact that the same letters are pronounced differently in different cases, in different words. The easiest of the European languages, according to Seymour, is Finnish. On it, the sound of all letters is always the same - as it is heard, it is written. Although its grammar is much more complicated than English - there are 15 cases alone.

According to English philologists, the great prevalence of English is explained not by its imaginary ease, but by historical accident. It so happened that the English-speaking countries have been the most successful in politics, economics and science over the past one and a half to two centuries, and therefore the language has become widespread, English linguists say.
