Processors

Equalizer AudioControl EQL (on the front wall of the sub, accessible from the driver's seat if you fold the right seat) + Audiocontrol 24XS crossover (on the back of the sub under the mask of amplification). This is how the equalizer is recessed flush with the subwoofer mask. Nifiga he is not afraid, does not fall apart. Interconnectors - PG Zeropoint and Kitchen Productions.

The 24XS crossover is hidden under a false panel at the back, this is how it looked in the process. Curly panel cutouts on the left and right were then covered with "inflated" fiberglass casings in the shape of the amplifier profile, so that only it was (should have been) visible from the outside. But I missed the seating depth (I got a thick Carpet), so the wiring also shines through.

Gain

6-channel PPI Powerclass 6600, 2 tweeter channels, 2 for midrange, 2 bridge for subwoofer. It sits on the back of the sub. As a result of the amputation of the rear sofa, only 30 cm of the interior depth was taken away, while the trunk was doubled! A very good amplifier, especially if you know its weaknesses (there are glitches - but it plays nicely). The photo shows the soundproofing of the door (upholstery removed). In the top corner of the box is a secondary distributor for 4 fuses, also accessible from the driver's seat. If it seems to you that the bottom edge of the drawer is crooked - so be it. The rigid false panel from below breaks off at about 7 cm from the floor, what is below is a flexible wall of two layers of thick carpet, under it there is a space of 7 centimeters deep. There I keep all sorts of camping small things, a can of paint fits perfectly.

Acoustics

Focal 136NX (5N3201 in kickpanels + TN46 on racks), included with split reinforcement, and just behind the front seats - Focal 33S subwoofer in a closed box. Kickpanels are closed, carbon fiber, muffled from the inside with lead shot, from the outside - with carpet. By the way, the green grille in the color of the body (and the seat covers too) is my custom motif (it is both on the source and on the subwoofer).

the shape of the box in the kicks is hardly visible in the photo, in fact they do not protrude much forward - just enough to fit a sufficiently deep Fokal magnet.

Sub

You have already seen it - Focal 33S. The box came out from side to side, it is also a superpodium for an amplifier, capacity, processor and every little thing. Despite brand recommendations - a closed box of 30-50 liters - I gave him 60, no less. Eo is about Q = 0.75, for connoisseurs, and F3 is about 35-40 Hz. Will it be too little? maybe so, in reality, in the car, the subwoofer breaks through frequencies of 30-60 Hz, above - a decline (due to the frequency response of the cabin), below - a hole (the same salon siphons out). The sound is springy and harsh. With an equalizer - brought a smooth shelf, +6 dB relative to the midrange at 20 ... 60 Hz, then 2 octaves of a smooth decline to zero. Since the direct wave from the subwoofer does not hit the seat directly, vibrations are not transmitted to the body, the sound is shot directly into the windshield and is localized somewhere in front. True, at super loudness it still blows into the elbow ...

Such a toy came out ... and the trunk has doubled!
