The VHF FM receiver is easy to set up and manufacture. The basis is m / s KXA058, which contains in its composition a heterodyne, a mixer, an amplifier, a detector.

The sensitivity of the receiver from the antenna input is about 5 μV/m at a signal-to-noise ratio of 26 dB. The local oscillator frequency is determined by the parameters of the loop L1, VD1 and the capacitor inside m / s.

Parts and interchangeability: VT1 - KT3128, KT361; VT2 - KT3102; VD1 - KV109, KV122, KV123.

L1 - frameless, wound on a mandrel with a diameter of 3,5 mm, for the range of 68-80 MHz - 7 turns of PEV wire 0,4 mm; for the range of 80-108 MHz - 3 turns of PEV wire 0,4 mm.

If it is intended to use a receiver with one radio microphone, then the elements VD1, R7, R8 can be excluded from the circuit, and a tuning capacitor 1-4 pF is connected in parallel with the L30 coil, which will cover the entire required range.

New Generation of 14nm Intel Processors 02.04.2016

Intel has announced a new family of Xeon E5-2600 v4 processors (E5-26xx v4, specially designed for flexible cloud infrastructures. The top chip contains 22 cores. The line includes 27 models in total. All of them are based on the 14-nm process technology.

"The new processors have the potential to help businesses, cloud service providers and telcos achieve higher performance, benefit from every new server, and accelerate their transition to software-defined infrastructure."

The Intel Xeon E5-2600 v4 processors are designed for dual-socket servers, dual-socket workstations, and communications equipment. Depending on the model, the processor contains from four to 22 cores. There are 27 models in total (PDF).

Almost all new models support Intel Turbo Boost 2.0 and Intel HT technologies. The electrical power of the chips varies from 50 to 160 watts. LLC cache size varies from 10 to 55 MB, one server can contain up to 24 DIMMs (DDR4 2400 MHz). All chips are made using 14nm technology. Their cost ranges from $213 to $4115 per piece in a batch of a thousand units.

The new processors are equipped with Intel Resource Director Technology (Intel RDT), which enables deeper analysis and control over shared platform resources for more granular control. This improves infrastructure efficiency and reduces total cost of ownership (Total Cost of Ownership - TCO). In addition, there are new options for monitoring processor cache memory, RAM bandwidth, and new cache allocation options.

The technology is able to "see" what kind of load individual threads, applications or virtual machines have on the system, and, for example, allocate processor cache memory, giving priority to more important virtual machines, containers and applications.

The new Xeons have improved data protection. For example, the addition of support for the ADCX/ADOX and PCLMULQDQ command sets made it possible to reduce the time of initiating secure sessions based on the RSA, ECC, and Secure Hash Algorithm (SHA) encryption algorithms by up to 70%.

The Xeon E5-2600 v4 processors have a built-in random number generator for generating encryption keys and a built-in random binary sequence generator for use by third-party software solutions.
