Comments on the article

1. Explosion-proof electrical equipment is marked with:

a) the level of explosion protection;

b) the highest category and the highest group of explosive mixture for which electrical equipment is explosion-proof;

c) type or types of explosion protection;

2. Marking is carried out directly on electrical equipment in a rectangular and round frame

The rectangular frame indicates the level of explosion protection, the category and group of the explosive mixture.

In the first place, the level of explosion protection of electrical equipment is indicated by the letter.

In the second - fourth places, categories and a group of explosive mixtures are indicated - a category - with a number according to Table P1.1, a group - with the letter T and a number according to Table. P1.2.

In a round frame, the type (or types) of explosion protection is indicated by the letter:
