7.2.26. Permissible voltage deviations for lighting devices must comply with the requirements of GOST 13109-87 "Electric energy. Requirements for the quality of electrical energy in general-purpose electrical networks."

7.2.27. Lighting fixtures for staged lighting must have safety nets that prevent the loss of light filters, lenses, lamps, other internal parts of lighting fixtures and glass or quartz fragments in the event of a lamp rupture.

7.2.28. Stage lighting, lighting of the orchestra's music stands must have a smooth control of the brightness of the light sources. For club institutions with up to 500 seats in the auditorium, it is allowed to have unregulated lighting.

7.2.29. In auditoriums with a capacity of more than 500 seats, it is recommended to provide for smooth control of the brightness of light sources.

7.2.30. In the premises for spectators, emergency lighting should be provided, providing reduced illumination of at least 15% of the standard in these premises. It is allowed to use emergency or evacuation lighting as part of the emergency lighting.

7.2.31. In auditoriums with stationary film installations, in the event of an emergency termination of film projection, automatic switching on of lamps providing at least 15% of the rated illumination for the illumination mode of the hall during breaks between film screenings should be provided.

7.2.32. Management of working and emergency lighting should be provided for:

  • for the auditorium - from the control room for staged lighting, from the projection room, from the post of the chief usher or from the entrance to the auditorium;
  • for the stage, stage - from the stage lighting control room, from the remote control on the stage (stage);
  • for lobbies, foyers, corridors, wardrobes, canteens, bathrooms, smoking rooms and other premises for spectators - centralized control of working lighting from the main usher's post or from the entrance to the auditorium, and emergency lighting, in addition, from the fire station room (if any ) or main switchboard.

7.2.33. Safety lighting should be carried out in the premises of the stage (stage), cash desks, administrator, cloakroom, security posts, fire station, technical control rooms, health centers, transformer substation, KTP, main switchboard, telephone exchange and in rooms for animals in circuses.

Escape lighting should be provided in all rooms where more than 50 people can stay, as well as on all stairs, walkways and other escape routes.

7.2.34. Light indicators should be placed above the doors along the escape routes from the auditorium, from the stage (stage, arena) and from other rooms in the direction of the exit from the building and have a color in accordance with NPB 160-97 "Signal colors. Fire safety signs. Types, dimensions, general technical requirements".

Light indicators must be connected to the power source of security lighting or evacuation lighting or automatically switch to it in the event of a power failure on the main sources supplying them. Light indicators must be on during the entire time the spectators stay in the building.

7.2.35. The control of safety lighting and evacuation lighting should be provided from the fire station, from the emergency lighting panel or from the main switchboard (ASU).

7.2.36. Incandescent lamps shall be used for safety lighting and evacuation lighting switched on or switched over to battery power.

A New Way to Control and Manipulate Optical Signals 05.05.2024

The modern world of science and technology is developing rapidly, and every day new methods and technologies appear that open up new prospects for us in various fields. One such innovation is the development by German scientists of a new way to control optical signals, which could lead to significant progress in the field of photonics. Recent research has allowed German scientists to create a tunable waveplate inside a fused silica waveguide. This method, based on the use of a liquid crystal layer, allows one to effectively change the polarization of light passing through a waveguide. This technological breakthrough opens up new prospects for the development of compact and efficient photonic devices capable of processing large volumes of data. The electro-optical control of polarization provided by the new method could provide the basis for a new class of integrated photonic devices. This opens up great opportunities for ... >>

Primium Seneca keyboard 05.05.2024

Keyboards are an integral part of our daily computer work. However, one of the main problems that users face is noise, especially in the case of premium models. But with the new Seneca keyboard from Norbauer & Co, that may change. Seneca is not just a keyboard, it is the result of five years of development work to create the ideal device. Every aspect of this keyboard, from acoustic properties to mechanical characteristics, has been carefully considered and balanced. One of the key features of Seneca is its silent stabilizers, which solve the noise problem common to many keyboards. In addition, the keyboard supports various key widths, making it convenient for any user. Although Seneca is not yet available for purchase, it is scheduled for release in late summer. The world's tallest astronomical observatory opened 04.05.2024

Exploring space and its mysteries is a task that attracts the attention of astronomers from all over the world. In the fresh air of the high mountains, far from city light pollution, the stars and planets reveal their secrets with greater clarity. A new page is opening in the history of astronomy with the opening of the world's highest astronomical observatory - the Atacama Observatory of the University of Tokyo. The Atacama Observatory, located at an altitude of 5640 meters above sea level, opens up new opportunities for astronomers in the study of space. This site has become the highest location for a ground-based telescope, providing researchers with a unique tool for studying infrared waves in the Universe. Although the high altitude location provides clearer skies and less interference from the atmosphere, building an observatory on a high mountain poses enormous difficulties and challenges. However, despite the difficulties, the new observatory opens up broad research prospects for astronomers. ... >>
