Section 4. Switchgears and substations Switchgears and substations with voltages above 1 kV. Biological protection against the effects of electric and magnetic fields Encyclopedia of radio electronics and electrical engineering / Rules for the installation of electrical installations (PUE) 4.2.72. At the substation and outdoor switchgear of 330 kV and above in the areas where service personnel are located (ways of movement for service personnel, workplaces), the electric field strength (EF) must be within the permissible levels established by state standards. 4.2.73. At the substation and switchgear with a voltage of 1-20 kV in the areas where service personnel stay, the magnetic field strength (MF) must comply with the requirements of sanitary rules and regulations. 4.2.74. In outdoor switchgear of 330 kV and above, the permissible levels of electric voltage in the areas of stay of service personnel should be provided, as a rule, by design and layout solutions using stationary and inventory shielding devices. The electric field strength in these zones should be determined based on the results of measurements in outdoor switchgear with identical design and layout solutions or by calculation. 4.2.75. At the substation and outdoor switchgear with a voltage of 330 kV and higher, in order to reduce the impact of electric power on personnel, it is necessary:
4.2.76. At the substation and in outdoor switchgear of 330 kV and above, in order to reduce the level of EP intensity, the proximity of phases of the same name in adjacent cells should be excluded. 4.2.77. At substations with a voltage of 330 kV and above, production and storage buildings should be located outside the zone of influence of the electric power supply. It is allowed to place them in this zone provided that the approaches to the entrances to these buildings are shielded. Screening of approaches, as a rule, is not required if the entrance to a building located in the zone of influence is located on the outside with respect to current-carrying parts. 4.2.78. Production facilities designed for the permanent stay of personnel should not be located in close proximity to the current-carrying parts of the indoor switchgear and other electrical installations, as well as under and above the current-carrying parts of the equipment (for example, current conductors), except in cases where the calculated levels of magnetic fields do not exceed the maximum allowable values. The service personnel stay zones should be located at distances from shielded current conductors and (or) bus bridges, ensuring compliance with the maximum permissible levels of the magnetic field. 4.2.79. Current-limiting reactors and circuit breakers should not be located in adjacent cells of 6-10 kV switchgear. If it is impossible to ensure this requirement, stationary ferromagnetic screens must be installed between the cells of current-limiting reactors and switches. 4.2.80. Shielding of MF sources or workplaces, if it is necessary to ensure acceptable levels of MF, should be carried out by means of ferromagnetic screens, the thickness and geometric dimensions of which should be calculated according to the required shielding factor: Ke \uXNUMXd Hv / Hdop where Hv is the highest possible value of the magnetic field strength at the shielded workplace, A/m; Hdop \u80d XNUMX A / m - the permissible value of the intensity of the MP. For workplaces where the stay of personnel is short due to the nature and conditions of work, Hdop is determined based on the requirements of sanitary rules and regulations.
