2.5.264. The angle of intersection of overhead lines with trolleybus and tram lines should be taken close to 90º, but not less than 60º.

2.5.265. When crossing trolleybus and tram lines, the overhead line supports limiting the crossing span must be anchored with a normal design.

For overhead lines with wires with a cross-sectional area of \u120b\u2bthe aluminum part of 50 mm2 or more or with steel ropes of the TK type with a cross section of XNUMX mmXNUMX or more, intermediate supports with suspension of wires in blind clamps or with double fastening on pin insulators are also allowed.

In the case of using anchor supports on overhead lines with suspension insulators and an unsplit wire in a phase with a cross-sectional area of \u120b\u2bthe aluminum part of XNUMX mmXNUMX or more, the tension garlands of insulators for the wire must be double-circuit with separate fastening of each circuit to the support.

When constructing new trolleybus and tram lines and passing them under the existing 500 kV overhead lines, the reconstruction of the overhead line is not required if the smallest distances are maintained in accordance with Table. 2.5.36.

For VLZ with wires with a cross-sectional area of \u120b\u2bthe aluminum part of XNUMX mmXNUMX or more, it is allowed to use intermediate supports with reinforced fastening of protected wires.

2.5.266. The smallest distances from the wires of the overhead line when crossing, approaching or parallel following with trolleybus and tram lines in the normal mode of operation of the overhead line should be taken not less than those given in table. 2.5.36:

  • at the highest air temperature without taking into account the heating of the wire by electric current;
  • at design linear ice load according to 2.5.55 and air temperature at ice according to 2.5.51.

The vertical distances from the wires of the overhead line with a cross-sectional area of \u185b\u2bthe aluminum part are less than 2.5.36 mmXNUMX at the intersections with wires or carrier cables of a trolleybus or tram line should be checked in emergency mode for a break in the overhead line wire in an adjacent span at an average annual air temperature without taking into account the heating of the wires by electric current. In this case, the distances must be at least those given in Table. XNUMX.

When approaching overhead lines of 110 kV and above with trolleybus and tram lines, the distances between their wires and measures to protect against influence must be determined in accordance with building codes and regulations for tram and trolleybus lines.

Horizontal distance when approaching or parallel following:
a) from the extreme non-deflected wires of the overhead line to the supports of the trolleybus and tram contact networks Not less than the height of the support
b) from the extreme wires of the overhead line with their greatest deviation to the supports of the trolleybus and tram contact networks in areas of a cramped route 3 4 6 8 10
c) from the extreme non-deflected wires of the overhead line to the stopping points of trams and trolleybuses, turning rings with working tracks, sludge, overtaking and repair 10 20 25 30 30

2.5.267. Protection of intersections of overhead lines with a contact network is carried out by protective devices in accordance with the requirements given in 2.5.229.

It is allowed to place the wires of the crossing overhead line above the supports of the contact network at vertical distances from the wires of the overhead line to the top of the supports of the contact network at least: 7m - for overhead lines with voltage up to 110 kV, 8 m - for overhead lines 150-220 kV, 9 m - for overhead lines 330- 500 kV.

Machine for thinning flowers in gardens 02.05.2024

In modern agriculture, technological progress is developing aimed at increasing the efficiency of plant care processes. The innovative Florix flower thinning machine was presented in Italy, designed to optimize the harvesting stage. This tool is equipped with mobile arms, allowing it to be easily adapted to the needs of the garden. The operator can adjust the speed of the thin wires by controlling them from the tractor cab using a joystick. This approach significantly increases the efficiency of the flower thinning process, providing the possibility of individual adjustment to the specific conditions of the garden, as well as the variety and type of fruit grown in it. After testing the Florix machine for two years on various types of fruit, the results were very encouraging. Farmers such as Filiberto Montanari, who has used a Florix machine for several years, have reported a significant reduction in the time and labor required to thin flowers. ... >>

Advanced Infrared Microscope 02.05.2024

Microscopes play an important role in scientific research, allowing scientists to delve into structures and processes invisible to the eye. However, various microscopy methods have their limitations, and among them was the limitation of resolution when using the infrared range. But the latest achievements of Japanese researchers from the University of Tokyo open up new prospects for studying the microworld. Scientists from the University of Tokyo have unveiled a new microscope that will revolutionize the capabilities of infrared microscopy. This advanced instrument allows you to see the internal structures of living bacteria with amazing clarity on the nanometer scale. Typically, mid-infrared microscopes are limited by low resolution, but the latest development from Japanese researchers overcomes these limitations. According to scientists, the developed microscope allows creating images with a resolution of up to 120 nanometers, which is 30 times higher than the resolution of traditional microscopes. ... >>

Air trap for insects 01.05.2024

Agriculture is one of the key sectors of the economy, and pest control is an integral part of this process. A team of scientists from the Indian Council of Agricultural Research-Central Potato Research Institute (ICAR-CPRI), Shimla, has come up with an innovative solution to this problem - a wind-powered insect air trap. This device addresses the shortcomings of traditional pest control methods by providing real-time insect population data. The trap is powered entirely by wind energy, making it an environmentally friendly solution that requires no power. Its unique design allows monitoring of both harmful and beneficial insects, providing a complete overview of the population in any agricultural area. “By assessing target pests at the right time, we can take necessary measures to control both pests and diseases,” says Kapil ... >>

New liquid cooling from Fujitsu 21.07.2015

Fujitsu has unveiled a new Cool-Central liquid cooling solution designed to cut server cooling costs by up to 50%. It complements the company's energy-saving server solutions for large-scale environments, including high-performance computing (HPC). According to the developers, the solution ensures compliance with the requirements or guidelines for efficient energy consumption.

Fujitsu Cool-Central for liquid cooling maximizes rack density and reduces cooling and power costs. In addition, capital investment for new liquid-cooled data centers is reduced compared to traditional air-cooled infrastructures. Moreover, the overall energy consumption can be further reduced by using secondary thermal resources in the form of water heated to 60 ° C to heat offices, homes and other premises, Fujitsu said.

The new Fujitsu Primergy CX400 M1 server and its liquid-cooled cluster nodes make efficient use of data center space by increasing equipment density to 160 Xeon processors and 1280 memory modules per standard rack. The total power consumption of such a rack exceeds 30 kW, so liquid cooling plays a vital role in maintaining an acceptable temperature regime in the data center, the company said. By 2016, Fujitsu predicts that high-density servers will surpass the 50kW/rack milestone, which is why the company is already implementing a modular, scalable technology that will be demanded by customers in the future.

"Fujitsu is revolutionizing data center design by providing a direct liquid cooling solution for chips that will help improve the efficiency of building and operating scale-out data centers," said Uwe Romppel, Head of Management Servers, Fujitsu "Achieving close to 1,0 PUEs is evidence of power optimization in the data center. The Fujitsu Cool-Central liquid cooling solution will help our customers achieve PUEs as low as 1,06 while making it easier to recycle heat."

Fujitsu has partnered with Danish company Asetek, a supplier of energy-efficient liquid cooling systems, to offer innovative direct-to-chip data center water cooling technology. The technology removes heat from "hot spots" such as CPUs, GPUs and memory modules to the outside air without the use of heat exchangers.
