1.9.18. The specific effective length of the creepage distance of the external porcelain insulation of electrical equipment and insulators of outdoor switchgear with a voltage of 6-750 kV, as well as the outer part of the switchgear bushings, depending on C3 and rated voltage (at an altitude of up to 1000 m above sea level) should be taken from Table. 1.9.1.

The specific effective length of the leakage path of the external insulation of electrical equipment and insulators of outdoor switchgear with a voltage of 6-220 kV, located at a height of more than 1000 m, should be taken: at a height of up to 2000 m - according to Table. 1.9.1, and at an altitude of 2000 to 3000 m - one degree of pollution higher than normalized.

1.9.19. When choosing the insulation of the outdoor switchgear, the air insulation distances from the current-carrying parts of the outdoor switchgear to grounded structures must comply with the requirements of Ch. 4.2.

1.9.20. In the tension and supporting garlands of outdoor switchgear, the number of disc insulators should be determined according to 1.9.12 - 1.9.13 with the addition of one 110-150 kV garland, 220-330 kV two, 500 kV three, 750 kV four insulators to each circuit .

1.9.21. In the absence of electrical equipment that meets the requirements of Table. 1.9.1 for areas with 3-4th C3, it is necessary to use equipment, insulators and bushings for higher rated voltages with insulation that meets table. 1.9.1.

1.9.22. In areas with pollution conditions exceeding 4th C3, as a rule, the construction of a closed switchgear should be provided.

1.9.23. Outdoor switchgear with a voltage of 500-750 kV and, as a rule, outdoor switchgear with a voltage of 110-330 kV with a large number of connections should not be located in zones with the 3rd-4th C3.

1.9.24. The specific effective length of the creepage distance of the external insulation of electrical equipment and insulators in indoor switchgear with a voltage of 110 kV and above should be at least 1,2 cm/kV in areas with 1st C3 and at least 1,5 cm/kV in areas with 2-4- th C3.

1.9.25. In areas with 1-3rd C3, KRUN and KTP with insulation according to table should be used. 1.9.1. In areas with 4th C3, only KRUN and KTP with special insulators are allowed.

1.9.26. Insulators of flexible and rigid external open conductors must be selected with a specific effective creepage distance according to Table. 1.9.1: λe = 1,9 cm/kV for a rated voltage of 20 kV for current conductors of 10 kV in areas with 1-3rd C3; λe = 3,0 cm/kV for a rated voltage of 20 kV for conductors 10 kV in areas with 4th C3; λe = 2,0 cm / kV for a rated voltage of 35 kV for current conductors 13,8-24 kV in areas with 1-4th C3.

Machine for thinning flowers in gardens 02.05.2024

In modern agriculture, technological progress is developing aimed at increasing the efficiency of plant care processes. The innovative Florix flower thinning machine was presented in Italy, designed to optimize the harvesting stage. This tool is equipped with mobile arms, allowing it to be easily adapted to the needs of the garden. The operator can adjust the speed of the thin wires by controlling them from the tractor cab using a joystick. This approach significantly increases the efficiency of the flower thinning process, providing the possibility of individual adjustment to the specific conditions of the garden, as well as the variety and type of fruit grown in it. After testing the Florix machine for two years on various types of fruit, the results were very encouraging. Farmers such as Filiberto Montanari, who has used a Florix machine for several years, have reported a significant reduction in the time and labor required to thin flowers. ... >>

Advanced Infrared Microscope 02.05.2024

Microscopes play an important role in scientific research, allowing scientists to delve into structures and processes invisible to the eye. However, various microscopy methods have their limitations, and among them was the limitation of resolution when using the infrared range. But the latest achievements of Japanese researchers from the University of Tokyo open up new prospects for studying the microworld. Scientists from the University of Tokyo have unveiled a new microscope that will revolutionize the capabilities of infrared microscopy. This advanced instrument allows you to see the internal structures of living bacteria with amazing clarity on the nanometer scale. Typically, mid-infrared microscopes are limited by low resolution, but the latest development from Japanese researchers overcomes these limitations. According to scientists, the developed microscope allows creating images with a resolution of up to 120 nanometers, which is 30 times higher than the resolution of traditional microscopes. ... >>

Air trap for insects 01.05.2024

Agriculture is one of the key sectors of the economy, and pest control is an integral part of this process. A team of scientists from the Indian Council of Agricultural Research-Central Potato Research Institute (ICAR-CPRI), Shimla, has come up with an innovative solution to this problem - a wind-powered insect air trap. This device addresses the shortcomings of traditional pest control methods by providing real-time insect population data. The trap is powered entirely by wind energy, making it an environmentally friendly solution that requires no power. Its unique design allows monitoring of both harmful and beneficial insects, providing a complete overview of the population in any agricultural area. “By assessing target pests at the right time, we can take necessary measures to control both pests and diseases,” says Kapil ... >>

Mitsubishi Laser TVs 18.04.2013

Mitsubishi is preparing to add two new models to its Real LaserVue Series laser projection TV product line. Both new products use red, blue and green laser diodes as illumination, which provides a high quality image.

The TVs have a built-in Blu-ray disc player and a 1TB hard drive. Support for displaying 3D content is noted, but this requires the appropriate glasses. For wireless transmission of content from external sources, a Bluetooth module is provided.

The LCD-50LSR4 has a 50" screen, ten speakers and measures 113,2 x 81,1 x 36,3 cm. The 39" version of the LCD-39LSR4 also includes 10 speakers and measures 88,9 x 67,4 ,36,3 x XNUMX cm. New items will go on sale in Japan at the end of May. You can read about how Mitsubishi laser TVs work in our article.
