*Cylindrical threaded connections that do not meet the requirements of this standard are allowed if they pass the explosion-proof tests of Section III, reduced by one third of the axial length of the thread, accepted by the designer.

The length of connections for metal parts, for example, bushings, pressed into the walls of metal flameproof enclosures with a volume of not more than 2000 cm3, can be reduced to 5 mm if the design:

not calculated only for fit, which prevents movement of the part during type testing;
withstands impact tests, taking into account the worst (according to tolerances) landing option;
the outer diameter of the pressed part does not exceed 60 mm.

Where joints include tapered surfaces, the slot length and gap width of the flameproof joint normal to the joint surfaces shall be as given in Tables 3.2 to 3.5. The explosion-proof gap must be uniform throughout the conical part. For shells of subgroup IIC, the cone angle shall not exceed 5°.

Roccat Torch studio grade USB microphone 17.07.2021

Turtle Beach introduced Roccat's Torch microphone, Roccat's first "studio-grade USB microphone". It is addressed to game lovers, streamers and content creators.

The design of the microphone includes a "double condenser capsule" that allows you to choose between three pickup patterns: cardioid, stereo and night, optimized for whispering. In fact, the case contains two capsules with a diameter of 14 mm.
