It is generally accepted that the displacement current in vacuum creates its own magnetic field, but no one has verified this experimentally. I set up experiments in which the presence of an alternating magnetic field was determined by its effect on the indicator circuit. The displacement current flowing between the plates of the capacitor and the inductance current had to act on the indicator moving along the oscillatory circuit (Fig. 1).

At point 1, the indicator current was maximum. When the indicator moved to point 2, a gradual decrease in the indicator current was observed.

It can be seen from the graph that the indicator current corresponded to the intensity of the magnetic field of the conduction current, although it was to be expected that at point 2 the indicator would be affected by the magnetic field of the bias current similarly to the magnetic field of the conduction current. The measurements were carried out at different orientations and different displacements of the indicator, and in all cases the effect of the magnetic field of the conduction current was observed, rather than the displacement current. In addition, a number of measurements were made with an oil dielectric in the space between the capacitor plates. At the same time, the effect of the magnetic field of the displacement current in the oil dielectric (very weak) was noted, and not the effect of a stronger displacement current in vacuum (Fig. 2).

From all the measurements carried out, it can be concluded that there is no magnetic field of the displacement current in vacuum. Such a conclusion contradicts generally accepted views, but the results of my experiments convince me of the validity of this conclusion.

When Maxwell expressed the idea of ​​the displacement current, he did not distinguish between the displacement current in matter and in vacuum, but now we know the fundamental difference between these concepts. The emission of radio waves can also be explained without using the concept of displacement current. There are no experiments showing the effect of the displacement current in a vacuum, and the experiments I conducted show the absence of both a magnetic field and the displacement current itself in a vacuum. It's unbelievable but obvious!

The conclusion about the absence of a magnetic displacement current field in vacuum may contradict some provisions of modern theory, but it does not contradict the basic laws of nature at all. Moreover, this conclusion follows directly from the law of conservation of energy, but this issue is beyond the scope of this article and requires separate consideration. I came to the need for experiments with the displacement current after I discovered that the practical application of the action of the magnetic field of the displacement current leads to a violation of the law of conservation of energy.

Asus Transformer Pad Infinity tablet with 2560x1600 screen and Nvidia Tegra 4 processor 12.06.2013

Asus has officially unveiled a new version of the Transformer Pad Infinity tablet computer. The product received a new display and a different platform, and its appearance on sale is expected in the autumn of this year.

If the hardware platform of the previous version of the flagship Asus tablet running Android OS was based on the Nvidia Tegra 3 single-chip platform, then the new model uses the Nvidia Tegra 4 SoC, whose CPU runs at 1,9 GHz. The amount of RAM has increased to 2 GB, and the display resolution with the same diagonal of 10,1 inches has increased to 2560 x 1600 pixels (pixel density - 299 per inch). The overall dimensions and weight of the mobile device are 263 x 180,8 x 8,9 mm and 600 grams, respectively, the dimensions and weight of the docking station are 263 x 180,8 x 7 mm and 450 grams, respectively.

The approximate cost of the Transformer Pad Infinity itself in the US is $400. For the presence of the keyboard in the kit will have to pay another $100.
