We often experience power outages. And in some institutions, for example, in maternity hospitals, it is unacceptable to turn off the light. I propose to use energy from the radio broadcasting network for lighting in emergency cases (see figure).

Radio broadcasting network - an emergency source of electricity

Energy is removed from the step-down transformer T1 and fed to the incandescent lamp HL1 through a smoothing filter formed by diodes VD1 -VD4 and capacitor C1. The lamp can be connected directly to the secondary winding of the transformer, but then there will be strong flicker. As HL1, you can use a 3,5 V 0,28 A or 2,5 V 0,15 A flashlight lamp, etc. The magnetic core of the transformer T1 can be assembled from Sh16 plates, the thickness of the set is 24 mm. The table shows the approximate data of the transformer windings. In cities, the voltage in the radio network is usually 15 V, in rural areas 30 V.

Diodes VD1-VD4 can be almost any, designed for the current flowing in the lamp, capacitor C1 type K50-6, etc. The XP1 plug must be special, to be plugged into a radio outlet, so as not to be accidentally connected to the lighting network. In many areas, wire broadcasting ends at 24.00, and there is no signal on the radio network until 6 in the morning, so it is desirable that maternity hospitals be equipped with lights with bug-type generators.

A similar device can be connected in an emergency to the telephone network using the energy of telephone beeps, only the primary winding of the transformer must correspond to the voltage on the telephone line.

It is desirable to provide the device with a resistor R1 to adjust the brightness. It can be of the PPZ or SP1 type. As T1, you can use a transformer from a standard subscriber loudspeaker.
