I hope no one will dispute the frequent need for bipolar power? And also the frequent inability to obtain it by standard means, such as a transformer with a lead from the middle of the winding? resistor divider? Yes, you can, only in this case, no one guarantees you the symmetry of the voltages in the shoulders, and, accordingly, the symmetry of the output signal, if we are talking about an amplifier with a bipolar supply. So let's look at the diagram and see.

Converter of unipolar voltage to bipolar 30 volts 1 ampere. Converter circuit

Maximum input voltage for this circuit is 30 Volts. Thus, at the output, we get +/-15 volts.
Current loads - .

The principle of operation of the converter is similar to the operation of a compensation voltage regulator. Chip DA1 compares the reference voltage supplied to the non-inverting input from the resistive divider R1-R3 with the voltage supplied to the inverting input from the output of the device. In accordance with this, the output signal is adjusted, which regulates the enable/disable of the output transistors. The maximum voltage is only limited by the supply voltage of the op-amp. And the output current - by the installed output transistors. This is such a useful thing.

A plate with elements, I almost forgot.

Machine for thinning flowers in gardens 02.05.2024

In modern agriculture, technological progress is developing aimed at increasing the efficiency of plant care processes. The innovative Florix flower thinning machine was presented in Italy, designed to optimize the harvesting stage. This tool is equipped with mobile arms, allowing it to be easily adapted to the needs of the garden. The operator can adjust the speed of the thin wires by controlling them from the tractor cab using a joystick. This approach significantly increases the efficiency of the flower thinning process, providing the possibility of individual adjustment to the specific conditions of the garden, as well as the variety and type of fruit grown in it. After testing the Florix machine for two years on various types of fruit, the results were very encouraging. Farmers such as Filiberto Montanari, who has used a Florix machine for several years, have reported a significant reduction in the time and labor required to thin flowers. ... >>

Advanced Infrared Microscope 02.05.2024

Microscopes play an important role in scientific research, allowing scientists to delve into structures and processes invisible to the eye. However, various microscopy methods have their limitations, and among them was the limitation of resolution when using the infrared range. But the latest achievements of Japanese researchers from the University of Tokyo open up new prospects for studying the microworld. Scientists from the University of Tokyo have unveiled a new microscope that will revolutionize the capabilities of infrared microscopy. This advanced instrument allows you to see the internal structures of living bacteria with amazing clarity on the nanometer scale. Typically, mid-infrared microscopes are limited by low resolution, but the latest development from Japanese researchers overcomes these limitations. According to scientists, the developed microscope allows creating images with a resolution of up to 120 nanometers, which is 30 times higher than the resolution of traditional microscopes. ... >>

Air trap for insects 01.05.2024

Agriculture is one of the key sectors of the economy, and pest control is an integral part of this process. A team of scientists from the Indian Council of Agricultural Research-Central Potato Research Institute (ICAR-CPRI), Shimla, has come up with an innovative solution to this problem - a wind-powered insect air trap. This device addresses the shortcomings of traditional pest control methods by providing real-time insect population data. The trap is powered entirely by wind energy, making it an environmentally friendly solution that requires no power. Its unique design allows monitoring of both harmful and beneficial insects, providing a complete overview of the population in any agricultural area. “By assessing target pests at the right time, we can take necessary measures to control both pests and diseases,” says Kapil ... >>

sunny pavement 06.04.2023

The Hungarian company Platio has developed a damage-resistant solar tile walkway. A 400 square meter solar walkway was recently installed in Groningen, the Netherlands, as part of the European Union's "Making City" project.

"Our patented technology has been designed so that micro-cracks do not appear in the solar cell and do not affect performance," a Platio spokesman said when asked about mechanical stress. "This rule is valid for its intended purpose, that is, if the Platio solar pavers are not subjected to a pressure of more than 2 tons. Therefore, it is safe to walk on it."

The solar path consists of 2544 solar pavements. It will generate 55 kWh of electricity per year to power Groningen City Hall. The Platio solar paving stone consists of four monocrystalline parts with a power of 000W and an efficiency of 21,5%. The open circuit voltage is 21,8V and the short circuit current is 2,69A. Each cell measures 10,5mm x 158,75mm while the solar tile module measures 158,75mm x 353mm x 353mm and weighs 41 kg. The module is covered with 6,5mm tempered heated glass and its frame is made from recycled polymer composite. It comes with a 10 year warranty.

The Platio solar solution is suitable for sidewalks, terraces, driveways and cycle paths. Vehicles weighing up to eight tons can drive on it.

"Platio solar paving stones are doubly sustainable because they not only provide green energy, but are also made from recycled plastic," said Philipp Brooksma, Groningen City Energy Council. "And it doubles the space: the solar walkway produces electricity, and people can walk on it simply and safely. This is an example of how to use space in a city wisely and environmentally."

System performance is controlled by the program. When the system was launched on March 24, it produced enough electricity to power 47 Dutch homes for one day.
