It often happens that several telephone sets are connected to one telephone line, and the ringing signal arrives at the same time on all devices. Therefore, it is impossible to determine which subscriber is being called. The proposed device allows you to transfer a call to an extension telephone with a simple push of a button.

The scheme for connecting telephone sets ТА1, ТА2 and calling devices (subscriber sets) A1, A2 to the telephone line is shown in Fig. 1.

Calling an extension phone

Several devices and subscriber sets can be connected to a telephone line. The scheme from [1] was taken as the basis of the device. which is greatly simplified.

Diagram of parallel phone call device is shown in Fig.2.

In standby mode, the device practically does not consume current from the telephone line, since the BF1 piezoelectric emitter connected to the line has an infinitely high resistance to direct current. The telephone line voltage is usually 60 V. It has a certain polarity, which must be taken into account when connecting the subscriber set to the line.

When a call signal is received, the subscriber picks up the handset, current begins to flow in the telephone line, and the voltage in the line drops to 10 ... 20 V (depending on the parameters of the telephone set and on its distance from the telephone exchange). To forward a call to another subscriber, you need to press the SB1 "Call" button. At the same time, through the closing contacts of the button, voltage is supplied to the parametric voltage regulator R1-VD1, and from it to the call generator on the DD1 chip and transistors VT1, VT2. The first generator on the logic elements DD1.1, DD1.2 generates pulses with a frequency of about 20 Hz, and the second generator on the elements DD1.3, DD1.4 - pulses with a frequency of about 2 kHz. A modulated two-frequency signal is applied to the base of the transistor VT1.

Transistors VT1 and VT2 periodically close the telephone line. thus forming ringing voltage pulses, and the other subscriber (or several) hears a sound signal in the emitters BF1, which are equipped with telephone sets. By the agreed number of signals given or by their nature, other subscribers will understand who should pick up the phone. The selection of resistors R2. R3, you can change the frequency of the ringing signal, which will distinguish subscribers from each other. When talking on the phone, weak unintelligible speech can be heard from the emitters, which serves as a signal that the telephone line is busy. At the time of making a call to the bridged subscriber, the calling subscriber hears a call forwarding tone on his handset.

Details. Transistors KT503E can be replaced with KT604A, KT605A. KT940A and others, designed for an allowable emitter-collector voltage of at least 80 V. Button SB1 - type KM1-1. Piezo emitter ZP-1 can be changed to ZP-2. ZL-3. ZP-18, ZP-19.

The device is assembled in a plastic case, made in the form of a stand for a telephone set. Most of the elements of the device are located on the printed circuit board. The call button is located on the side surface of the case, there is also a piezo emitter.

The connection of such a device to the telephone line must be made in accordance with the polarity, which is a disadvantage of this scheme. Figure 3 shows how to include a bridge rectifier in a subscriber set in order to connect the device to a telephone line in arbitrary polarity.

As a bridge diode assembly VD1, you can use the assembly KTS405. KTS409, KTS417 with any letters, as well as imported RS201. RS202. DB101. DB102. BR305, BR31.

This device can be used to call parallel subscribers and in the absence of an incoming call from the city telephone exchange. It is only necessary to agree on the number of ringing signals for different subscribers.

Artificial leather for touch emulation 15.04.2024

In a modern technology world where distance is becoming increasingly commonplace, maintaining connection and a sense of closeness is important. Recent developments in artificial skin by German scientists from Saarland University represent a new era in virtual interactions. German researchers from Saarland University have developed ultra-thin films that can transmit the sensation of touch over a distance. This cutting-edge technology provides new opportunities for virtual communication, especially for those who find themselves far from their loved ones. The ultra-thin films developed by the researchers, just 50 micrometers thick, can be integrated into textiles and worn like a second skin. These films act as sensors that recognize tactile signals from mom or dad, and as actuators that transmit these movements to the baby. Parents' touch to the fabric activates sensors that react to pressure and deform the ultra-thin film. This ... >>

Petgugu Global cat litter 15.04.2024

Taking care of pets can often be a challenge, especially when it comes to keeping your home clean. A new interesting solution from the Petgugu Global startup has been presented, which will make life easier for cat owners and help them keep their home perfectly clean and tidy. Startup Petgugu Global has unveiled a unique cat toilet that can automatically flush feces, keeping your home clean and fresh. This innovative device is equipped with various smart sensors that monitor your pet's toilet activity and activate to automatically clean after use. The device connects to the sewer system and ensures efficient waste removal without the need for intervention from the owner. Additionally, the toilet has a large flushable storage capacity, making it ideal for multi-cat households. The Petgugu cat litter bowl is designed for use with water-soluble litters and offers a range of additional ... >>

The attractiveness of caring men 14.04.2024

The stereotype that women prefer "bad boys" has long been widespread. However, recent research conducted by British scientists from Monash University offers a new perspective on this issue. They looked at how women responded to men's emotional responsibility and willingness to help others. The study's findings could change our understanding of what makes men attractive to women. A study conducted by scientists from Monash University leads to new findings about men's attractiveness to women. In the experiment, women were shown photographs of men with brief stories about their behavior in various situations, including their reaction to an encounter with a homeless person. Some of the men ignored the homeless man, while others helped him, such as buying him food. A study found that men who showed empathy and kindness were more attractive to women compared to men who showed empathy and kindness. ... >>

Found interstellar iron 30.07.2019

Astrophysicists know that iron (chemical symbol: Fe) is one of the most abundant elements in the universe, after lighter elements such as hydrogen, carbon and oxygen. Iron is most commonly found in gaseous form in stars such as the Sun and in a more condensed form on planets such as Earth.

Iron in the interstellar medium should also be common, but astrophysicists have only detected low levels of gaseous iron. This implies that it exists in some sort of solid form or molecular state, yet identification of its hiding place remains elusive for decades.

A team of space chemists at Arizona State University, backed by the Keck Observatory, now says the puzzle is easier than it looks. Interstellar iron hid in plain sight. It combined with carbon molecules and formed molecular chains called iron pseudocarbines. The spectra of these chains are identical to the much more common chains of carbon molecules, whose presence in interstellar space has long been known.

The team explored how clusters containing several metallic iron atoms can combine with chains of carbon molecules to form molecules that combine both elements.

Recent data from stardust and meteorites point to the widespread occurrence of agglomerations of iron atoms in space. At the extremely low temperatures of interstellar space, these iron clusters act like deep freeze particles, allowing carbon chains of various lengths to stick to them, thus producing molecules different from those that can be produced in the gaseous phase of iron.

The missing iron in the interstellar medium is actually in plain sight, but disguised as ordinary carbon chain molecules.

The new work may also solve another long-standing mystery. The researchers explain that carbon chains with more than nine atoms are unstable. However, observations have found more complex carbon molecules in interstellar space. How nature builds these complex carbon molecules from simpler carbon molecules has been a mystery for many years.
