Sometimes the operation of the telephone set does not suit the consumer: poor sound and audibility, noise, etc. You can improve the characteristics of the device by assembling the proposed conversation node.

The diagram of the device is shown in the figure.

The quad operational amplifier DA1 is powered by a bipolar voltage generated from a unipolar cascade on transistors VT5, VT6. On the operational amplifier DA1.1 and transistor VT1, a microphone amplifier is assembled, and on DA1.2 and VT2, VT3 - an audio signal amplifier from the line. To operate the anti-local system, the anti-phase audio signal for DA1.2 is not taken from the output transistor VT1, as is done in most of the simplest conversational nodes, but is generated by a separate amplifier on DA1.3. This achieves a good quality of the anti-local system.

The cascade on the op-amp DA1.4, diodes VD2, VD3 and transistor VT4 is designed to control the gain DA1.2. If a sufficient level of signal is received from the microphone, the gain of the DA1.2 op-amp is reduced, which provides even more suppression of one's voice.

With a very high signal level at the non-inverting input of the op amp DA1.1, the linearity of the DA1.1 and DA1.3 deteriorates and the depth of suppression of one's own voice decreases. To compensate for this effect, the sensitivity of the amplifier on the op-amp DD1.2 must be lowered. This makes the field effect transistor VT4. The resistance of the source-drain channel increases greatly, and the gain of the op-amp DA1.2 is determined only by the ratio of the resistance values of the resistors R25 and R21.

Switch SA1 is designed to reduce the sensitivity of the microphone amplifier. Switch SA2 can step down the volume of the signal in the handset.

Electret microphone VM1 - MKE-389, MKE-332, MKE-377, M34LOR HM1003 or similar. Diodes VD2, VD3, VD6 - any low-power germanium or silicon, VD4 and VD5 - low-power silicon. Zener diode VD1 - any low-power voltage 15 ... 30 V.

Transistor VT1 can be any of the KT815, KT817, KT961, KT608, KT630 series with a base current transfer coefficient of 150 ... 200. Field-effect transistor VT4 - any of the KP302, KP303, KP307 series, but it must be checked for cut-off voltage, which should be no more than 1 V.

To reduce interference, it is better to place the board with the speaking node inside the handset and use a copper foil shield.

Establishing a node comes down to the selection of some resistors that affect certain parameters. The tags for these resistors and the parameters they affect, as well as the ratings of the parameters, are listed below:

type="disc">
  • R3 - depth of suppression of one's own voice;
  • R7 - sensitivity of the microphone amplifier;
  • R9 - lowering the sensitivity of the microphone amplifier;
  • R12 - response threshold of the telephone amplifier sensitivity reduction system;
  • R14 - supply voltage of the conversational node (8 ... 11 V);
  • R21 - volume with reduced sensitivity of the telephone amplifier;
  • R27 - the volume of the incoming sound signal;
  • R29 - symmetry of the arms of the bipolar voltage source;
  • R31 - forced volume down.

    Artificial leather for touch emulation 15.04.2024

    In a modern technology world where distance is becoming increasingly commonplace, maintaining connection and a sense of closeness is important. Recent developments in artificial skin by German scientists from Saarland University represent a new era in virtual interactions. German researchers from Saarland University have developed ultra-thin films that can transmit the sensation of touch over a distance. This cutting-edge technology provides new opportunities for virtual communication, especially for those who find themselves far from their loved ones. The ultra-thin films developed by the researchers, just 50 micrometers thick, can be integrated into textiles and worn like a second skin. These films act as sensors that recognize tactile signals from mom or dad, and as actuators that transmit these movements to the baby. Parents' touch to the fabric activates sensors that react to pressure and deform the ultra-thin film. This ... >>

The Petgugu cat litter bowl is designed for use with water-soluble litters and offers a range of additional ... >>

    The attractiveness of caring men 14.04.2024

    The stereotype that women prefer "bad boys" has long been widespread. However, recent research conducted by British scientists from Monash University offers a new perspective on this issue. They looked at how women responded to men's emotional responsibility and willingness to help others. The study's findings could change our understanding of what makes men attractive to women. A study conducted by scientists from Monash University leads to new findings about men's attractiveness to women. In the experiment, women were shown photographs of men with brief stories about their behavior in various situations, including their reaction to an encounter with a homeless person. Some of the men ignored the homeless man, while others helped him, such as buying him food. A study found that men who showed empathy and kindness were more attractive to women compared to men who showed empathy and kindness. ... >>

    Iron mining on Mars 01.10.2022

    Australian researchers at Swinburne University of Technology have developed a process to produce iron on Mars. They propose using concentrated sunlight as an energy source, and extracting iron from regolith using carbothermal reduction.

    Experiments on the Perseverance rover have shown the possibility of extracting oxygen on the Red Planet using the electrolysis of carbon dioxide (CO2). During this process, a large amount of carbon monoxide (CO) is released as a by-product. The researchers propose to combine an oxygen plant with iron production to use by-products.

    In their calculations, the scientists showed that the hot gas produced by the electrolysis of carbon dioxide would be rich in CO (91%). It can be used to preheat regolith. In addition, by condensing the monoxide, pure carbon can be obtained.

    The researchers analyzed the composition of the Martian regolith (soil) and found that by adding 10% carbon to it at a temperature of 1120 ° C and a pressure of 7 mbar (atmospheric pressure on Mars), liquid iron can be obtained with a conversion of 99,9%. In this case, the alloy will contain a small amount of impurities of carbon, silicon, phosphorus and chromium.

    Experts believe that the resulting material can be used for the independent production of various machines and devices for a colony on Mars. The technology is based solely on local materials and does not require the delivery of goods from the Earth.
