The proposed signaling device (Fig. 1) smoothly lights the EL1 incandescent lamp when a ringing signal arrives and smoothly extinguishes it at the end. The signaling device does not respond to dialing and other impulse noise that may be in the telephone line. In order not to complicate the circuit, a specialized KR1182PM1 microcircuit was used, designed to work in phase power controllers. This microcircuit allows you to control incandescent lamps with a power of up to 150 W and can withstand an effective voltage value of up to 280 V without damage.

Rice. 1. Schematic diagram of a telephone call signaling light

The pulse voltage of the ringing signal with a frequency of 13 ... 50 Hz and an amplitude of 80 ... 200 V through protective resistors R1, R2 and separating capacitors C1, C2 is fed to the rectifier bridge VD1. The rectified voltage pulses are smoothed out by the capacitor C3, while the HL1 LED is lit. The inclusion of current-limiting resistors R1, R2 in both wires of the telephone line helps prevent damage to subscriber telephone devices and PBX equipment in the event of an insulation breakdown of the VU1 optocoupler, the probability of which cannot be completely ruled out.

With a sufficiently large amplitude of the input signal, the phototransistor of the VU1 optocoupler opens. In this case, the gate-source circuit of the n-channel field-effect transistor VT2 is shunted, and it closes. Capacitor C8 is smoothly charged to a voltage of 2 ... 4 V from the internal current source of the DA1 microcircuit. At this time, the load lamp EL1 lights up smoothly. The power supplied to the load depends on the voltage difference at pins 3 and 6 of DA1. At the end of the call or during pauses between calls, the capacitor C3 is discharged, the current through the optocoupler LED stops, the phototransistor closes, the transistor VT2 opens and discharges the capacitor C8 through the resistor R8, the lamp EL1 goes out smoothly.

Transistor VT1 works as a micropower zener diode with a stabilization voltage of 6 ... 10 V. Varistor R10 prevents damage to the microcircuit during powerful impulse noise in the lighting network or with a significant emergency increase in supply voltage. The two-chip LED HL2 signals the presence of a supply voltage of 220 V. Elements R3, C4, L1, C7, L2 reduce the level of interference that can penetrate the lighting network when the signaling device is operating.

In the device, you can use fixed resistors C1-4, C2-23, MLT of the appropriate power. Trimmer resistor - type SPZ-386, RP1-63 or imported small-sized. Varistor - type FNR-20K431, FNR-10K431, FNR-20K39 or semiconductor voltage limiter KS904AC. Oxide capacitors - type K50-35, K50-24, K53-19, K53-4 or imported, for example, from Rubycon, DON. Capacitors C1, C2, C4, C11 - film, type K73-17, K73-24v, K73-39, for an operating voltage of at least 400 V; C7 - ceramic K15-5; C9, SU can be of any type, including oxide ones. To ensure earlier opening of the thyristor keys of the microcircuit, the capacitance of these capacitors is halved. Diode bridge VD1 can be replaced with KTs422V...G, DB102...DB107, RW152...RW157. Diode VD2 - any of the series KD209, KD102, KD105 A ... G, KD243G ... Zh, as well as 1 N4004 ... 1 N4007. LED L1543SRC/E high brightness red glow can be replaced by any similar, for example, series L1503S, L1513S, L383S, KIPD21, KIPD40, KIPD66.

We can replace the double-crystal HL2 with any of the L117, L57, L937, KIPD23, KIPD41 series. The AOT128A optocoupler, which has a galvanic isolation voltage of 1500 V, can be replaced with 4N35, 4N26, TIL111. Transistor VT1 can be installed with any of the KT315, KT312, KT342 series, or a micropower zener diode 2S182Ts, 2S191Ts, 2S210Ts can be used in its place. The field-effect n-channel transistor of the enriched type VT2 can be replaced with KP501B, KP501V, VN2120, ZVN2120 or current switches K1014KT1, KR1014KT1, KR1064KT1. Their pinout is shown in Fig. 2. Inductors L1, L2 can be made on M2000NM-A ring ferrite magnetic cores with an outer ring diameter of at least 24 mm. The windings contain 90 turns of wire PEV-2 00,37 mm. Ferrite rings before winding are pre-wrapped with varnished cloth or fluoroplastic film. Finished chokes are impregnated with varnish or compound. The device is mounted on a printed circuit board with dimensions of 100x75 mm made of one-sided foil fiberglass (Fig. 3). The setting comes down to setting such a resistance of the tuning resistor R5 so that the lamp lights up only when a ringing signal is received.

Artificial leather for touch emulation 15.04.2024

In a modern technology world where distance is becoming increasingly commonplace, maintaining connection and a sense of closeness is important. Recent developments in artificial skin by German scientists from Saarland University represent a new era in virtual interactions. German researchers from Saarland University have developed ultra-thin films that can transmit the sensation of touch over a distance. This cutting-edge technology provides new opportunities for virtual communication, especially for those who find themselves far from their loved ones. The ultra-thin films developed by the researchers, just 50 micrometers thick, can be integrated into textiles and worn like a second skin. These films act as sensors that recognize tactile signals from mom or dad, and as actuators that transmit these movements to the baby. Parents' touch to the fabric activates sensors that react to pressure and deform the ultra-thin film. This ... >>

Biometric terminals-readers Safran Sigma 11.02.2017

Safran announced the release of powerful Sigma biometric reader terminals with an oversized optical fingerprint scanner and a high-precision digital recognition algorithm. As CNews was told in the company, the novelties are equipped with a 5-inch touchscreen display with a virtual keyboard and interactive functionality, as well as a camera, microphone and speaker, thanks to which biometric identification based on MorphoAccess Sigma can be supplemented with video telephony.

The terminals have high identification accuracy, built-in memory for 3-10 thousand records, IP65 dust/moisture protection and are compatible with Prox, iClass, MIFARE, MIFARE Plus, DESFire card readers for personnel identification using an access card.

The high speed of fingerprint recognition, which is less than 1 second, allows the use of new biometric terminals at objects with a large human flow, for example, for access control in large office centers, enterprises, etc. What's more, biometric identification powered by MorphoAccess Sigma is enhanced by Safran's latest papillary pattern recognition algorithms to detect false data from scars or dirt on fingerprints. To obtain a high-quality fingerprint template and simplify its identification, new devices use the MSO300 scanner with an increased optical sensor area.

An additional advantage of MorphoAccess Sigma is their support for video telephony using the built-in camera, microphone, speaker and display. Based on the Safran biometric terminal, video and audio communication is carried out using the IP protocol, which ensures high speed and quality of transmitted data. At the request of the security service, biometric identification can be accompanied by one of two options for the operation of the video phone: calling or monitoring. For example, the calling function is useful for exchanging urgent messages, such as a request to open a door remotely, and watching is useful for visually identifying a person passing through an access point.

Protection against dust and moisture according to IP65 class and performance in a wide temperature range (from -20°C to 60°C) allow you to install a new biometric terminal in unheated rooms. Since biometric identification is accompanied by control of door locks or turnstiles, MorphoAccess Sigma is equipped with 2 universal inputs (including door control), 2 universal outputs and a door relay. For compatibility with third-party ACS equipment, Sigma have a Wiegand interface (configurable up to 512 bits). The device's built-in 5" color touchscreen display provides access to a user interface that can be customized to fit your company's needs and set your own content: corporate video, audio messages, wallpapers, and more.

The retail price for MorphoAccess Sigma reader terminals for biometric fingerprint identification is from 1160 euros.
