The TV disconnect switch disconnects the TV from the mains after the TV transmission has stopped. The machine is an electronic relay that is triggered by a constant voltage on the capacitor of the frequency detector. This voltage appears only during the transmission of a television signal.

When switch S1 is turned on, the signal voltage of the frequency detector of the TV is fed through resistor R1 to the input of a DC amplifier made on transistors V1 and V2. This leads to the operation of the relay K1 and blocking the button to turn on the TV with the contacts of the relay K1.1. In standby mode, switch S1 must be opened after the lamp H1 lights up, indicating that the machine is ready for operation.

After the end of the TV transmission, the signal of the frequency detector disappears and with a delay of 10-15 seconds, the relay returns to its original state, breaking the power supply circuit of the TV. Such a delay is necessary so that the machine does not disconnect the TV from the network when the TV is switched to another program. The delay value can be changed by selecting the capacitance of the capacitor C1. The supply voltage of the transistors is 6,3 V - from the filament circuit of the TV lamps. The voltage is rectified by the chain V3, C2.

The figure shows two options for connecting the machine to TV sets UNT-35 ("Record-64", "Record-305", "Spring-5", "Rubin-102", "Start-3", etc.), as well as to TV sets UNT-47/59, ULPT-47-111 (Voskhod, Ogonyok, Rubin-106, Start-6, Electron, etc.).

Details. Transistor V1 type MP35-MP38, V2 type MPSH - MSH13; electrolytic capacitors C1 and C2 type K50-3, relay type RKN; signal lamp for a voltage of 6,3 V.

When setting up the machine, a resistor R1 is selected of such a value that relay K1 reliably operates.
