The device allows you to get pretty nice non-repetitive trills. This is achieved through the use of a pseudo-random sequence generator (RRP) assembled on logic chips DD1...DD3.

Buzzer with non-repeating sound

The PSP pulse shaper controls the sound generator, which is made on the widely used K174UN14 microcircuit (imported analogue of TDA2003), switched on in the oscillator mode. The frequency tuning of the sound generator is carried out using the transistor VT1. And the signal comes to the base of the transistor from the output of the PSP generator (DD3/2).

The initial frequency of the sound generator (DA1) is set using the resistor R4. The tuning range depends on the resistor R5, and the speed of the change of sounds (rhythm) is changed by the resistor R2.

Any speaker with a power of 1 ... 0.5 W and a resistance of at least 3 ohms can be used as a sound emitter BA8. Resistor R8 allows you to adjust the volume of the audio signal.

The tuned resistors R2, R4, R6 are used of the type SP-19a, R8 of the type PPB-1A, and the rest of the resistors and capacitors are suitable for any, but with small dimensions. Otherwise, they will not fit on the printed circuit board shown in fig. 1.28. The board is one-sided, but it has four bulky jumpers that are installed prior to installation.

Chip DA1 must have a heat sink (attached to the radiator).

The device remains operational when the supply voltage changes from 6 to 15 V. In this case, the current consumption does not exceed 100 mA.

Buzzer with non-repeating sound

The scheme can be used as a house bell, an alarm clock or a musical toy. At the same time, there is an advantage in comparison with a sound signaling device assembled on microcircuits with programmed fixed melodies. This will not soon get tired of repetition.

Artificial leather for touch emulation 15.04.2024

In a modern technology world where distance is becoming increasingly commonplace, maintaining connection and a sense of closeness is important. Recent developments in artificial skin by German scientists from Saarland University represent a new era in virtual interactions. German researchers from Saarland University have developed ultra-thin films that can transmit the sensation of touch over a distance. This cutting-edge technology provides new opportunities for virtual communication, especially for those who find themselves far from their loved ones. The ultra-thin films developed by the researchers, just 50 micrometers thick, can be integrated into textiles and worn like a second skin. These films act as sensors that recognize tactile signals from mom or dad, and as actuators that transmit these movements to the baby. Parents' touch to the fabric activates sensors that react to pressure and deform the ultra-thin film. This ... >>

Petgugu Global cat litter 15.04.2024

Taking care of pets can often be a challenge, especially when it comes to keeping your home clean. A new interesting solution from the Petgugu Global startup has been presented, which will make life easier for cat owners and help them keep their home perfectly clean and tidy. Startup Petgugu Global has unveiled a unique cat toilet that can automatically flush feces, keeping your home clean and fresh. This innovative device is equipped with various smart sensors that monitor your pet's toilet activity and activate to automatically clean after use. The device connects to the sewer system and ensures efficient waste removal without the need for intervention from the owner. Additionally, the toilet has a large flushable storage capacity, making it ideal for multi-cat households. The Petgugu cat litter bowl is designed for use with water-soluble litters and offers a range of additional ... >>

The attractiveness of caring men 14.04.2024

The stereotype that women prefer "bad boys" has long been widespread. However, recent research conducted by British scientists from Monash University offers a new perspective on this issue. They looked at how women responded to men's emotional responsibility and willingness to help others. The study's findings could change our understanding of what makes men attractive to women. A study conducted by scientists from Monash University leads to new findings about men's attractiveness to women. In the experiment, women were shown photographs of men with brief stories about their behavior in various situations, including their reaction to an encounter with a homeless person. Some of the men ignored the homeless man, while others helped him, such as buying him food. A study found that men who showed empathy and kindness were more attractive to women compared to men who showed empathy and kindness. ... >>

Reproduction in space possible 26.05.2017

Japanese scientists have been experimenting with rodents for many years, as a result of which it turned out that reproduction is possible in space.

In 2013, biologists at Japan's Yamanashi University began a multi-year experiment involving mice. First, they sent frozen rodent sperm aboard the ISS. A year later, the material returned to Earth, they fertilized eggs, which were then implanted into the wombs of surrogate mother mice.

According to the results of the study, scientists published an article stating that one of the biggest dangers to living organisms in space is the high level of radiation. It is 100 times higher on the ISS than on Earth. Radiation can affect sperm activity and even alter DNA.

However, when the Japanese compared the DNA structure of rodents conceived in this way and rodents conceived in the usual way, they found no significant difference. There were no deviations in the cubs of "space" mice.

For the first time, viable offspring have been obtained from genetic material irradiated in space. Scientists intend to continue their research.
