Programming telephone numbers for dialing, changing the password, viewing the contents of the memory of numbers is carried out using a keypad of 5 buttons and a 10-digit LCD display. Schematic diagram fig.1. made on the basis of the microcontroller company "Microchip" - 16F628(A)-I/P. On transistors T1, T2, a security loop interrogation unit is made, which implements the function of responding to its breakage and short circuit. The interface node with the telephone line is made on the transistor T3, optocouplers T4, T5. The use of optocouplers made it possible to galvanically isolate the telephone line from the security device, which is important for the reliability of the system, especially if an overhead telephone line is used. Piezoceramic emitter Pe1 serves to sound and inform keystrokes and basic functions. LED1 - to receive the supply voltage of the LCD - 1,5V, LED2 - device operation indicator. LCD indicator - 10 digit based on Holtek HT1613 chip. More information can be found on the Holtek website, holtek.com. There is a large variety of these indicators from various foreign manufacturers (except for the common MELT). In this case, an indicator of the KO4V2 type is used. As a relay P1, any one with a 12 V winding and contacts that can withstand the required switching current of the load is suitable. The control buttons are located on the printed circuit board, the LCD indicator is installed in the device case. If necessary, remote installation of controls and indications from the device itself is allowed.

Change password. The function number is turned on, more precisely, it is typed by the number of pressing the "Function" button. The purpose of the remaining buttons is described in each function separately. Arming/Disarming Procedure (Function 0) There is no need to pre-press the "Function" button, by default the device is in zero function. We simultaneously press buttons 1 and 4, the time is counting down (voiced by short quiet beeps, the so-called "tic", "tic", "tic" ...) to the exit. The person leaves the premises during this period of time. In order to check whether the device is really armed at the end of the exit time, if the security loop is not violated, a short pulse of a loud sound annunciator sounds. Until the exit time expires, the device cannot be disarmed... While the device is armed, the red LED is lit. You can disarm by entering a password, both after the violation of the security loop, and before this event. To disarm the system, it is necessary while warning quiet sound signals "tick", "tick" ... are sounding. (if there was a violation of the loop), until the entry time has expired (the siren does not turn on and the phone numbers are not called), enter the password numbers. Enter the password by successively pressing resp. password button and releasing at the moment when it appears on the screen. This procedure is due to the fact that at this moment warning ticks still sound, the number is entered only when it appears on the screen. As soon as the last digit of the password is entered, if the password is correct, the red LED goes out and the system is disarmed. After that, no violations of the security loop lead to any actions on the part of the security device. If the correct password is not entered at the entrance to the protected premises within the specified period of time, a loud siren will be turned on and a call will be made by tel. numbers stored in the device's memory. The device dials the phone number indicated to it from the memory cells in turn. Having dialed the number, regardless of whether the handset is picked up or not, it turns on the telephone line and sounds for 1 minute an alarm (two-tone) sound siren. Next comes the interrogation of the security loop, and if it continues to be triggered, it calls the next number from the memory cells, sounds like a siren for 1 minute, etc. As soon as the device determines that the loop is in the normal state, it becomes armed again. In the variant, if not a single telephone number for calling is recorded in the memory, the device turns on a loud siren for 1 minute, after which it turns off and goes into protection if the loop returns to normal. How to View the Contents of Phone Number Memories (Function 1) We turn on Function 1 - by pressing the "Function" button once, then by pressing the buttons in turn - either to the right - button 3 or to the left - button 2 "scroll through" the contents of the memory. The first digit of the number is not displayed on the screen. There are only 4 cells in which a maximum of four 11-digit numbers can fit. The exit from this function is pressing the button 1, the image disappears on the screen (dash signs -----------). When you try to "scroll" beyond (1-4), a quiet beep sounds, indicating a limitation, and nothing changes on the screen. For example, button 3 is pressed when the contents of cell 4 are displayed on the screen - we hear a long sound "errors, restrictions" and the same number from cell 4 remains on the screen. The numbers required for calling are entered starting from cell 1. If there is no need to make a call in the first cell, the number should not be recorded. You can delete numbers from cells not completely, but only the first digit. Thus, this number is excluded from the call. If the first digit is deleted in the second cell (the first cell is recorded), then only the number from cell 1 will be called, etc. How to Store Phone Numbers in Memory (Function 2) Previously, using function 1, call the required memory cell on the display, i.e. just see it and exit the mode of function 1, or without exiting "press" once on the "Function" button, thereby turning on function 2. (The digits of the number are entered alternately starting from the first.) After that, press the button 3 - "more", or the button 2 - "less" on the indicator on the far right of the familiarity, a number appears. We dial the required value of the digit of the number, press the button 4 - "record" sounds a double sound and this figure is stored in memory. (The first digit is not displayed, all subsequent digits of the number will move after pressing the "record" button to their familiarity, as they will then be dialed). Thus, all digits of the number are dialed. If before that there was a number in the cell with a large number of digits and now the unnecessary ones need to be deleted, then this is done as follows: where there should be "blank" numbers, a dash must be entered. "Dash" can be obtained by simultaneously pressing the 2nd and 3rd buttons in the place where the number is typed before entering into memory. A double beep sounds, in the right familiarity, if there was any number, the image changes to a dash, then, as usual, press button 4 - "Record". "Dash" will be stored in memory. Exit this mode button 1 - "Exit". Password Change Procedure (Function 3) To change the password, you must enter the current password. It is displayed on the left as you type (4 characters). If the current password is entered correctly, the red LED lights up, indicating that the new password writing mode has been enabled. Next, enter the 4 digits of the new password. the entered numbers are displayed on the left over the old password. As soon as 4 digits have been entered, the red LED goes out, a long, quiet beep sounds and the new password is displayed on the right (4 characters). After that, the device is reset on the screen (----------) If you made a mistake when entering the current password, or the password is incorrect, the entered digits disappear, everything is reset and you must re-enable function 3 to try again, thus achieving simple password protection. Password recovery procedure
To recover a forgotten password (otherwise it will be impossible to use the device further), you must turn off the security device completely, even if it is backed up by the battery, you must remove the power from the processor, press and hold the "Function" button, then turn on the power, a sound signal will be heard, after which you can release the button (otherwise the sound will be repeated). All default password (1,2,3,4) will be restored this way. The device can not be restarted after that ...
Naturally, the password recovery procedure must be kept secret! If the security device is not armed, pressing buttons 1, 2, 3, 4 will not lead to any action, even if numbers appear on the screen, which disappear after some time. Thus, the device does not give out the password stored in it.
