We all come across at home with the connection of electrical plugs to our many electrical appliances.
But there are only a few designs of electrical plugs, consider one of them
For work we need:
- flexible copper wire, section 1,5 mm2;
- side cutters;
- cutter;
- screwdriver;
- electric plug B16 242 made in Belarus.
Take a flexible copper wire with a cross section of 1,5 mm2 and an electrical plug B16 242.
The wire cross section can be taken smaller, depending on the connected equipment. For extension cords, I do not recommend using cables with a cross section of less than 1 mm2.
Let's disassemble the electric plug into its component parts.
Carefully remove the sheath from the flexible cable, about 6 cm long.
We clean the insulation so as not to damage the conductive wires, about 3 cm long.
We divide each conductive core in half and twist them.
We wrap the current-carrying wires, divided into hits, around the bolts with washers, the pin contacts of the plug, as shown in the photo.
We bite off the extra ends with side cutters, leaving about 2 mm of twisted wires from the bolt with the washer.
We fasten the bolts to the pin contacts of the electrical plug and the side ground contact.
We carefully lay the wires inside the body of the electric plug so that during assembly there is no damage to the insulation of the conductive wires.
We fasten the outer case of the electric plug to the contact base.
Can be connected to the mains.
