Super bright flashlight Nitecore EDC25
17.04.2024
When it comes to needing light at night or in low light conditions, a reliable flashlight is a lifesaver. One of Nitecore's latest flashlight releases, the EDC25, turns heads with its compact design and powerful light. Let's take a closer look at what this flashlight offers. The Nitecore EDC25 flashlight is the ideal solution for those looking for a compact, lightweight light source for everyday use. Combining incredible brightness and convenience, this flashlight fits easily in your pocket but can still illuminate long distances. The flashlight measures just 13,8 x 3 x 1,4 cm and weighs just 104 grams, making it ideal to carry in your pocket or bag. Its body is made of carbon fiber with aluminum inserts, providing durability and ease of use. The basis is two NiteLab UHi 20 LEDs, providing a maximum brightness of 3000 lumens and peak intensity ... >>
Ants navigate by moonlight
16.04.2024
Animals have amazing abilities to adapt to different environmental conditions. Recent research by an international team of scientists has shown that Australian ants Myrmecia midas have the amazing ability to navigate at night using polarized moonlight. Australian ants Myrmecia midas became the first animals to be able to navigate using polarized moonlight. This ability allows them to successfully find their way in the dark, returning to their nests after searching for food. Researchers conducted a series of experiments to find out how ants use moonlight to navigate. They placed polarizing filters over the ants and observed changes in their behavior. Scientists have found that ants change their direction of movement depending on the orientation of the polarizing filter, which confirms their use of polarized moonlight for navigation. Even in the forest, where the moonlight is ... >>
Casio G-5600BG-1 watch made from recycled waste
16.04.2024
Modern technologies and industrial processes have a significant impact on the environment. In light of this, more and more companies are striving to create environmentally sustainable products by incorporating sustainability principles into their operations. One such example is Casio's new limited edition watch, the G-5600BG-1, which is made from recycled materials. The G-5600BG-1 is not just a new product, but a symbol of respect for the environment. They are created using recycled materials, including resin collected from previous Casio manufacturing processes. This approach minimizes negative environmental impacts and promotes sustainable use of resources. One of the features of the G-5600BG-1 is the unique colorful pattern on the case of each watch. This makes each unit unique and highlights its environmental value. Despite the use of recycled materials, the watch is ... >>
Random news from the Archive LM27761 Switched Capacitor Voltage Inverter with LDO
26.08.2016
Texas Instruments has introduced a new low voltage switched capacitor inverter. It provides very low noise at a regulated output for input voltages ranging from 2,7V to 5,5V.
Using four inexpensive capacitors, you can provide up to 250mA output current and -1,5V to -5V to power analog circuits, for example.
The LM27761 operates at 2 MHz to reduce output impedance and voltage ripple. With an operating current of 370 µA, the inverter delivers >80% efficiency and can be used in applications such as power amplifiers, DACs, and other applications requiring low output voltage noise.
Capabilities
Inverts and regulates the input supply voltage
Low output noise
Current consumption in off mode up to 7 μA (typ.)
Output current up to 250 mA
Inverter output impedance 2,5 ohm, at Vin = 5 V
Peak load regulation +- 4%
Current consumption 370 uA
Fixed frequency 2 MHz (typical) with low noise
LDO PSRR 35 dB (typical) at 2 MHz with 80 mA load current
Voltage drop across LDO 30mV, at 100mA, Vout= -5V
Current limit and thermal protection
Typical applications for LM27761:
Operational power amplifiers
Wireless communication systems
cellular
Power supplies
Portable measuring instruments
Amplifiers for Hi-Fi headphones
Data Converter Power
