System composition is selected based on the number of objects of observation, cost, requirements for ease of management and speed of system response. The same problem can be solved using different system configurations. The cost of a black-and-white camera is on average the same as that of a PTZ device. Therefore, it is more expedient to use a camera with a rotary device, if a viewing angle of more than 180° is required (a 180° viewing angle can be provided by two cameras).

The speed of movement of the rotary device is in the range of 0-12 m/s. With the selected average distance to the object (for example, 10 m), it is possible to track the movements of objects moving at a speed of no more than 2 m/s. Depending on the number of objects and the expected maximum speed of their movement (man - 10 m/s, machine - 30 m/s), as well as taking into account the speed of the operator's response, the required speed of the system's response is selected. Additional devices of television surveillance systems allow duplicating some functions of the operator, increasing the reliability of protection, and accelerating the response of the system to attract the attention of the operator and turn on the executive devices. For this purpose, these devices have "alarm" inputs and outputs.

"Alarm" inputs are designed to turn on an additional device, such as a multiplexer. The multiplexer switches to display mode on the monitor of the "alarming" zone.

The purpose of these outputs is to quickly turn on executing devices. It can be lighting, a siren, etc.

When using foreign equipment designed for operation in AC networks with a voltage of 110 V, the power of permissible switched loads should be reduced by 2 times.

The ability of the system to work in a slave mode is due to the need to duplicate some of the operator's functions. The use of motion sensors allows you to automatically continuously monitor any number of video images. Regardless of the actions of the operator, the system can turn on the VCR, lighting and other devices.

The choice between traditional and computer systems is difficult. The computer system can perform any monitoring and control functions. System response time depends on system management software and operator training. To work in slave mode, you need the appropriate software.

Traditional systems are easy to manage and cost less, but the disadvantage is the lack of flexibility: to change the operation of the system, it is necessary to completely redo its scheme. In computer systems, additional functions are easily installed using special software tools.

Television cameras are divided into color and black and white. When choosing a color camera, it is necessary to take into account the coordination of color signals in accordance with various standards, the main ones being PAL and NTSC. Cameras made in the USA have the NTSC standard, and if they are used in security systems that have the PAL standard, the image will be black and white. According to their design, television cameras are case and frameless. Frameless cameras are used in covert surveillance systems. In terms of their dimensions, they are smaller than case cameras, and their cost is much lower. Such cameras look like printed circuit boards with electronic parts mounted on them and a rigidly fixed lens.

Artificial leather for touch emulation 15.04.2024

In a modern technology world where distance is becoming increasingly commonplace, maintaining connection and a sense of closeness is important. Recent developments in artificial skin by German scientists from Saarland University represent a new era in virtual interactions. German researchers from Saarland University have developed ultra-thin films that can transmit the sensation of touch over a distance. This cutting-edge technology provides new opportunities for virtual communication, especially for those who find themselves far from their loved ones. The ultra-thin films developed by the researchers, just 50 micrometers thick, can be integrated into textiles and worn like a second skin. These films act as sensors that recognize tactile signals from mom or dad, and as actuators that transmit these movements to the baby. Parents' touch to the fabric activates sensors that react to pressure and deform the ultra-thin film. This ... >>

Petgugu Global cat litter 15.04.2024

Taking care of pets can often be a challenge, especially when it comes to keeping your home clean. A new interesting solution from the Petgugu Global startup has been presented, which will make life easier for cat owners and help them keep their home perfectly clean and tidy. Startup Petgugu Global has unveiled a unique cat toilet that can automatically flush feces, keeping your home clean and fresh. This innovative device is equipped with various smart sensors that monitor your pet's toilet activity and activate to automatically clean after use. The device connects to the sewer system and ensures efficient waste removal without the need for intervention from the owner. Additionally, the toilet has a large flushable storage capacity, making it ideal for multi-cat households. The Petgugu cat litter bowl is designed for use with water-soluble litters and offers a range of additional ... >>

The attractiveness of caring men 14.04.2024

The stereotype that women prefer "bad boys" has long been widespread. However, recent research conducted by British scientists from Monash University offers a new perspective on this issue. They looked at how women responded to men's emotional responsibility and willingness to help others. The study's findings could change our understanding of what makes men attractive to women. A study conducted by scientists from Monash University leads to new findings about men's attractiveness to women. In the experiment, women were shown photographs of men with brief stories about their behavior in various situations, including their reaction to an encounter with a homeless person. Some of the men ignored the homeless man, while others helped him, such as buying him food. A study found that men who showed empathy and kindness were more attractive to women compared to men who showed empathy and kindness. ... >>

Razer Seiren Pro Digital Streaming Microphone 05.05.2015

Razer, a peripherals company, has unveiled the Razer Seiren Pro digital microphone. According to the manufacturer, it is designed for streaming enthusiasts and YouTube video creators.

Unlike the previous model - Razer Seiren, the Razer Seiren Pro microphone is endowed not only with a digital USB interface, but also with an analog XLR output. XLR capability allows the Razer Seiren Pro to be connected directly to cameras and mixing consoles, combining multiple microphones and instruments with a single console, greatly increasing the flexibility of on-the-fly setup during recording sessions. There is a choice of one of four radiation patterns and a built-in headphone amplifier.

To eliminate background noise such as the sounds of passing traffic and gusts of wind, the microphone is equipped with a high-pass filter that cuts frequencies below 100 Hz. This is especially important when broadcasting live from the scene, but can also be useful when recording in a studio.

By pairing the Razer Seiren Pro with accessories such as a shock absorber and pop filter, you can create a complete recording setup.

The device can be powered by a USB port or a 48V DC power supply. The digital signal is characterized by a sampling rate of 192 kHz and a 24-bit data representation. The frequency range is declared equal to 20 - 20 Hz, the sensitivity is 000 mV / Pa (at a frequency of 12,5 kHz), the maximum sound pressure level is 1 dB. The built-in headphone amplifier does not differ in parameters from the amplifier of the original model.

The price of the Razer Seiren Pro is 300 euros. The shock absorber and pop filter cost 50 euros each, but if you buy the whole set, you can save - its price is 350 euros. Sales start this month.
