This modding looks quite stylish and it is more convenient than many options that I have seen. In general, I will not write much, but just lay out the pictures and everything will immediately become clear. The secret is that 2 blue SMD LEDs are glued to the monitor. The diodes themselves are not visible, only the light is visible, and it is not even immediately clear where the light comes from. I fastened the diodes in the simplest way - I soldered them to a piece of the breadboard and glued the board to the monitor with adhesive tape. The wires are also glued with adhesive tape and go under the table, and then to the computer. The wire enters the computer through the ventilation holes in the rear wall and is connected to the power connector (+ 5V) through a 130 Ohm resistor.

After several hours of testing, the following shortcomings were found:

1. little light in the center, you need to put another diode in the center;

2. blue light is not very well perceived, it is better to put white diodes - it will not be so beautiful, but then there will be more light;

3. It is hard to see the backlight of the additional Claudia.

Artificial leather for touch emulation 15.04.2024

In a modern technology world where distance is becoming increasingly commonplace, maintaining connection and a sense of closeness is important. Recent developments in artificial skin by German scientists from Saarland University represent a new era in virtual interactions. German researchers from Saarland University have developed ultra-thin films that can transmit the sensation of touch over a distance. This cutting-edge technology provides new opportunities for virtual communication, especially for those who find themselves far from their loved ones. The ultra-thin films developed by the researchers, just 50 micrometers thick, can be integrated into textiles and worn like a second skin. These films act as sensors that recognize tactile signals from mom or dad, and as actuators that transmit these movements to the baby. Parents' touch to the fabric activates sensors that react to pressure and deform the ultra-thin film. This ... >>

The attractiveness of caring men 14.04.2024

The stereotype that women prefer "bad boys" has long been widespread. However, recent research conducted by British scientists from Monash University offers a new perspective on this issue. They looked at how women responded to men's emotional responsibility and willingness to help others. The study's findings could change our understanding of what makes men attractive to women. A study conducted by scientists from Monash University leads to new findings about men's attractiveness to women. In the experiment, women were shown photographs of men with brief stories about their behavior in various situations, including their reaction to an encounter with a homeless person. Some of the men ignored the homeless man, while others helped him, such as buying him food. A study found that men who showed empathy and kindness were more attractive to women compared to men who showed empathy and kindness. ... >>

Optimal time for jogging 14.11.2023

In the course of the study, scientists were able to identify the best time for running. These findings were made by a research team led by representatives from the University of Birmingham in Britain, with the active support of colleagues from the University of Bath.

Scientific work highlights the importance of timing your running, especially for those looking to improve metabolism and control blood sugar. Jogging in the morning, according to data, may be more effective for burning fat, which affects the overall health of the body. However, for a complete picture, the effects on the female body should be further checked.

According to research, it is most beneficial to run before breakfast, as it helps boost your metabolism. This approach also helps control blood sugar levels.

The experiment was conducted among overweight men, and those who ran before their morning meal burned fat more effectively than those who ran after breakfast.

Scientists explain this effect by the fact that when fasting at night, a person’s insulin level decreases during training, which contributes to more active consumption of fat. Although the effect on weight loss may not be as obvious as on overall health. It is planned to test the results of the study also on women.
