The solar hot water supply unit (USGV) is designed to provide hot water and maintain the set temperature regime of any premises using solar energy.

Possible use cases

offline; together with another alternative source of thermal energy, as well as if there is a centralized hot water supply and heating system as a heat source.

IVDS operation principle

It is based on the perception of solar energy by special heat-receiving elements of the system (solar collectors) by direct conversion of solar energy into thermal energy of water or other coolant.

Design

Structurally, the USGV consists of a number of solar collectors of the same type, an accumulator tank, a hydraulic system of pipelines and pumps (at the request of the Customer) and a solar power plant to provide power to the entire installation and to ensure the reliability of the operation of the USGV in the mode of turning off the centralized power supply.

Composition of USGV:

  • solar collectors;
  • tank - high-speed water heater;
  • tank - heat accumulator;
  • heat exchangers;
  • circulation pumps;
  • hydraulic lines with shut-off valves and units that ensure their operation;
  • solar power plant (SPP);
  • automatic control system with control panel.

The modular principle of construction of the USGV allows designing and supplying the customer with systems of the required capacity (if necessary, increasing the capabilities of existing systems).

The main characteristics of solar hot water supply installations (USGV) are given in Table. 3.2.

Table 3.2. The main characteristics of the USGV (depend on the configuration of a particular system)

Working surface of one collector 2mxNUMX
Hot water capacity (40-60°C) of one SC "Sokol" 60-80 l/day m2 *
Number of collectors Depends on the amount of hot water consumed
Degree of system autonomy Full or partial (at the request of the customer)
solar power system Power is calculated during the preparation of the preliminary project of the USGW for offline operation
Operating pressure 2 kg / cm2
Operating temperature range Year-round (for cold areas it is necessary to use antifreeze in the SC circuit)
Estimated service life pet at least 10 years **
Features of placement and installation in accordance with the installation project

Notes: * - provided that the system is designed and supplied by NPO Mashinostroeniya; ** - depends on the intensity of solar radiation.

Alcohol content of warm beer 07.05.2024

Beer, as one of the most common alcoholic drinks, has its own unique taste, which can change depending on the temperature of consumption. A new study by an international team of scientists has found that beer temperature has a significant impact on the perception of alcoholic taste. The study, led by materials scientist Lei Jiang, found that at different temperatures, ethanol and water molecules form different types of clusters, which affects the perception of alcoholic taste. At low temperatures, more pyramid-like clusters form, which reduces the pungency of the "ethanol" taste and makes the drink taste less alcoholic. On the contrary, as the temperature increases, the clusters become more chain-like, resulting in a more pronounced alcoholic taste. This explains why the taste of some alcoholic drinks, such as baijiu, can change depending on temperature. The data obtained opens up new prospects for beverage manufacturers, ... >>

Major risk factor for gambling addiction 07.05.2024

Computer games are becoming an increasingly popular form of entertainment among teenagers, but the associated risk of gaming addiction remains a significant problem. American scientists conducted a study to determine the main factors contributing to this addiction and offer recommendations for its prevention. Over the course of six years, 385 teenagers were followed to find out what factors may predispose them to gambling addiction. The results showed that 90% of study participants were not at risk of addiction, while 10% became gambling addicts. It turned out that the key factor in the onset of gambling addiction is a low level of prosocial behavior. Teenagers with a low level of prosocial behavior do not show interest in the help and support of others, which can lead to a loss of contact with the real world and a deepening dependence on virtual reality offered by computer games. Based on these results, scientists ... >>

Traffic noise delays the growth of chicks 06.05.2024

The sounds that surround us in modern cities are becoming increasingly piercing. However, few people think about how this noise affects the animal world, especially such delicate creatures as chicks that have not yet hatched from their eggs. Recent research is shedding light on this issue, indicating serious consequences for their development and survival. Scientists have found that exposure of zebra diamondback chicks to traffic noise can cause serious disruption to their development. Experiments have shown that noise pollution can significantly delay their hatching, and those chicks that do emerge face a number of health-promoting problems. The researchers also found that the negative effects of noise pollution extend into the adult birds. Reduced chances of reproduction and decreased fertility indicate the long-term effects that traffic noise has on wildlife. The study results highlight the need ... >>

Drones and Coronavirus 12.06.2021

Malaysian police use drones that can measure temperatures up to 20 meters above the ground. This is another measure to combat the spread of coronavirus. Drones alert regulators to people with high temperatures.

Malaysian police have previously warned they will use drones to enforce previously imposed travel restrictions, and officers in some areas have also said they will be making surprise home visits to make sure people are following the rules.

Previously, reports have already appeared about how the authorities of various countries used unmanned aerial vehicles to monitor compliance with COVID-19 rules. The Spanish authorities have used drones to make sure people visiting beaches are following social distancing rules. In Brussels, Belgium, police used drones with loudspeakers to urge people to "stay at home".

In Australia, drones have been used to catch people without masks, as well as to scan cars parked more than 5km from their owners' homes. In the UK, authorities have come under fire for using drones to monitor dog owners to see if they stray too far from home.
