5st recipe:

  • Fat 50 kg;
  • Palm oil 50 kg;
  • Coconut oil 50 kg;
  • Rosin 60 kg;
  • Caustic soda solution 25 °Be 150 kg;
  • Salt solution 18 °Be 330 kg.

When cooking these soaps, the core does not fall off. Such soap contains in its composition all glycerin and all water of caustic lye.

Cooking soap according to these recipes is as follows. First, fats and rosin are melted with low heat. Talc is added to the dissolved mixture. Separately, a solution of caustic soda is heated to 90-95 ° C and poured into the boiler in a thin stream (it is best to set caustic soda in 3 portions). When complete saponification occurs, that is, when the solution becomes completely transparent, soluble glass is added to the mass, preheated to 80-90 ° C. You can also add trim from the previous brew to the boiler. The boiler is closed, the mass is allowed to cool and then poured into molding boxes. To these soaps, mirban oil (nitrobenzene) is usually added to muffle the smell of rosin. Rosin soap lathers well and is yellow to light brown in color.

Marble Adhesive Soaps

3rd recipe. Top grade:

  • Fat 20 kg;
  • Coconut oil 5 kg;
  • Caustic soda solution 25 ° Be 24 kg.

Coloring:

  • Soluble glass 37 °Be 4 kg;
  • Caustic soda solution 25 °Be 30 g;
  • Water 0,5 l;
  • Ultramarine 50 y.

4th recipe. With an admixture of crystalline soda:

  • Fat 24 kg;
  • Coconut oil 24 kg;
  • Caustic soda solution 23 °Be 40 kg;
  • Crystalline soda 25 °Be 10 kg;
  • Potash 30 °Be 11 kg;
  • Table salt 25 °Be 19 kg.

Coloring:

  • Soluble glass 37 °Be 4 kg;
  • Water 1 l;
  • Caustic soda solution 25 °Be 25 g;
  • Ultramarine 100 y.

Preparation Soaps before these recipes are as follows. Pour all the caustic soda, a solution of potash and crystalline soda into the cauldron and bring the liquid to a boil. Separately, in another cauldron, fats are melted and gradually poured into a heated alkaline solution. Stir well and heat until complete saponification occurs. Next, a solution of sodium chloride is added and a sample is taken for the alkalinity of the soap (on the tongue or on an alcohol solution of phenolphthalein). The sample should be slightly alkaline (slight burning). If necessary, the soap is corrected by adding heated coconut oil or adding a solution of caustic alkali.

After the soap is ready, they begin to add coloring matter to obtain marble. For this strain, boiled soap is poured from the boiler into a bucket and about 200 g of the mixture for coloring is added. If at the same time it turns out that flakes fall out, then it is necessary to add a little caustic soda to the boiler and take a new sample. If the sample taken is colored evenly and marble is not obtained after half an hour, then it is necessary to add a little melted coconut oil to the cauldron mixed with a little hot water. The test is considered satisfactory when, after standing for half an hour, the soap begins to shrink and after 2-3 hours completely crystallizes. If the test gives a favorable result, the soap is cooled to 75-80 ° C and the paint is gradually added.

Artificial leather for touch emulation 15.04.2024

In a modern technology world where distance is becoming increasingly commonplace, maintaining connection and a sense of closeness is important. Recent developments in artificial skin by German scientists from Saarland University represent a new era in virtual interactions. German researchers from Saarland University have developed ultra-thin films that can transmit the sensation of touch over a distance. This cutting-edge technology provides new opportunities for virtual communication, especially for those who find themselves far from their loved ones. The ultra-thin films developed by the researchers, just 50 micrometers thick, can be integrated into textiles and worn like a second skin. These films act as sensors that recognize tactile signals from mom or dad, and as actuators that transmit these movements to the baby. Parents' touch to the fabric activates sensors that react to pressure and deform the ultra-thin film. This ... >>

Petgugu Global cat litter 15.04.2024

Taking care of pets can often be a challenge, especially when it comes to keeping your home clean. A new interesting solution from the Petgugu Global startup has been presented, which will make life easier for cat owners and help them keep their home perfectly clean and tidy. Startup Petgugu Global has unveiled a unique cat toilet that can automatically flush feces, keeping your home clean and fresh. This innovative device is equipped with various smart sensors that monitor your pet's toilet activity and activate to automatically clean after use. The device connects to the sewer system and ensures efficient waste removal without the need for intervention from the owner. Additionally, the toilet has a large flushable storage capacity, making it ideal for multi-cat households. The Petgugu cat litter bowl is designed for use with water-soluble litters and offers a range of additional ... >>

The attractiveness of caring men 14.04.2024

The stereotype that women prefer "bad boys" has long been widespread. However, recent research conducted by British scientists from Monash University offers a new perspective on this issue. They looked at how women responded to men's emotional responsibility and willingness to help others. The study's findings could change our understanding of what makes men attractive to women. A study conducted by scientists from Monash University leads to new findings about men's attractiveness to women. In the experiment, women were shown photographs of men with brief stories about their behavior in various situations, including their reaction to an encounter with a homeless person. Some of the men ignored the homeless man, while others helped him, such as buying him food. A study found that men who showed empathy and kindness were more attractive to women compared to men who showed empathy and kindness. ... >>

Sensitive dark matter detector 16.07.2022

The world's most sensitive dark matter detector has begun scientific work after passing tests for 60 days. The facility is located at a depth of 1,5 km at the Sanford Underground Research Center in Lead, South Dakota. The sensitivity of the instrument is estimated to be 50 times higher than that of the previous setup. The device will collect event data for at least 1000 days without any guarantee of a result.

When searching for dark matter, even a negative result is a step forward. The search in a certain range of masses and energies forces us to correct the physical model of this hypothetical particle, which has set the very foundation of our Universe. It is particles, that is why it is correct to change the tracing paper from the English "dark matter" in Russian to "dark matter". Matter can also be a field, this is a broader concept, and a particle, nevertheless, is a substance.

The new LUX-ZEPLIN (LZ) experiment builds on the previous two, LUX and ZEPLIN, but is presented on a larger scale. So, if in the previous experiment 360 kg of liquid xenon was used to search for events (collisions of ordinary and dark matter), now the reservoir contains 7,7 tons of liquid xenon cooled to cryogenic temperatures. Also, the container was replenished with new sensors, even two types of sensors: one for detecting flashes from the interaction of dark matter with xenon atoms and the other for detecting electrons knocked out by such a collision.

Around the tank with xenon there is a tank with ordinary water and sensors for registering particles known to science. Such an organization makes it possible to register events simultaneously in xenon and in water. And if the events occurred simultaneously, then this allows us to immediately exclude dark matter, which on a given scale does not interact with water atoms in any way. The relatively large installation depth and the water screen make it possible to significantly reduce noise - the detection of particles of ordinary matter.

In test mode, the installation worked for 60 days after the launch in December 2021. An article was published as a result of the check. Now the device will collect data for at least 1000 days in the hope of registering a collision of a dark matter particle with a xenon atom, which occurs with a theoretical probability no more than twice a year.

In the LUX-ZEPLIN experiment, scientists are looking for a WIMP (Weakly Interacting Massive Particle) particle, a hypothetical weakly interacting massive particle. "WIMPs" interact with atoms of ordinary matter only with the help of gravity or weak interactions. Increasing the overall sensitivity of the installation up to 50 times gives hope that, nevertheless, something will get into the network of scientists.
